I'd agree with that. You seem to be very anti-Bailey Mo.

What about the one on offer at Punt Rd.

I thought you liked articles like these....

If Shaun Burgoyne goes into the PSD and Melbourne picks him up, you're all getting a Christmas gift from me! Highly unlikely. You've got to ask yourself why is he putting it off? There's probably a million reasons, or one reason......Mark Williams or he wants to move clubs, or a much better deal. Shaun Burgoyne #8 Port Adelaide Power Age: 26yr 7mth Games: 151 Born: October 21, 1982 Height: 185cm Weight: 88kg Position: Midfield Last Drafted: Round 1, Pick #12 2000 National Draft Last Drafted By: Port Adelaide Power *Footywire PS. Granted, he has got the run & carry in him which DB is after.

You know even if it went picks 1&3 to Melbourne and picks 2&4 to West Coast - if both teams finished with less than 5 wins (& Melbourne finished with spoon) . West Coast might decide on Morabito (from WA) at pick 2. Leaving Scully & Butcher for Melbourne anyway....

Nasher, you should write for the PM's speeches. Totally agree on the content of your post in relation to West Coast. There is no effort from Kerr or his teammates to free Kerr up at stoppages. Cox wasn't himself against Richmond. When Naitanui looked to be dominating at the centre bounces, Woosha took him off. Gee playing Selwood up forward was a masterstroke.

I'll move to either Greenland or Iceland and take up .............. whatever it is they do over there...

Admittedly he was talking briefly about this in between height stuff. But what he failed to acknowledge that many of this height level (190-192cm) do get picked up, and many have "ability" to play midfield and up forward in key posts. In any case, Enforcer 25 served up some facts for him. Time to move on.

Honestly, one of your better statements and posts. 27 tackles in 5 games is not the be all and end all. He's main objective is to provide a focal point & kick goals with confidence. He's not at the required level. Don't go applying for any talent scout jobs in a hurry Freak. Agree. Reminiscent of the Adelaide game. Checkside from 15m out on a 45 degree angle. Hasn't learnt. I know I didn't. :D No thanks. Correct, it is disturbing...........thanks 'Hutchy'

Yep. Their aim was to wipe off all the debt. It's unfinished business. Well put Rogue. Yes. Here's a snippet from President Jim Stynes - Magazine December 2008: - "We managed to reduce our debt by $3 million in August, which was kick started by "Foundation Heroes" night. It was amazing that evening. The generosity was great - we raised $2 million - but the spirit in the room was the highlight. Our message was loud & clear; that we were going to survive, we're not going to go away, we're not leaving Melbourne, and we're not going to merge." From Cameron Schwab - Magazine December 2008: - "In terms of the team itself, we will be committed to establishing a great side, which represents much more than simply assembling talent. We must find the resources to support Dean Bailey and Chris Connolly and our young team. We cannot be compromised by lack of funding and poor facilities." The sooner the club, with the help of it's supporters & members, wipe off this debt. The sooner our club gets back on it's feet. The sooner our club thrives and becomes a power once again. We can't do this half baked. It must be done properly. For all those who want a flag and have been praying for the fortunes of a flag before they go the way of the do-do, it must be a united effort. Collectively we must stick together. So far we as members have held up our part of the bargain. Hence the record 31,294 members to date. However, we need to keep supporting, keep turning up to the games and in this instance we need to dig deep again. How good would it be for the club not have the burden of debt? We can only wish for that day to come it seems. But it can be done. It will be done. The new draft picks need to be nurtured in a stable environment in their development. Casey is a major plus. New sponsors a bonus. A financial and stable club, with a state of the art football department & facilities is now the objective. Go Demons! HT.

Well. There has been talk for sometime re: Worsfold. Still nothing is signed. Paul Roos - I know they love him, but will he go around again? More importantly, who for North melbourne? Another untried young coach? Or experienced coach like a Sheedy or Ayres? Geez, you reckon Gary Ayres has his Powerpoint presentation ready? I reckon he's updated it 6 times in the last 6 months..

That's now a shoe-in after developments this morning.
