  1. i'm not worried mahoney will stick basically to his offer because it is essentially fair. eventually it will be accepted. crows won't let him go to the draft let's worry about other fish
  2. well that changes it a little, maybe a lot...........good pickup maybe then up the bluff factor and ask 1M/yr for 2 years mfc offers 1m + 1m + 0.5m + 0.5m others forced to offer 1m + 1m and run the risk he leaves after 2 years for nothing becomes more a case of russian roulette
  3. exactly. not only that, but the next year mfc could play hardball and for example pick him up for a 2nd round pick. not saying they would do that but no-one else would touch him so they probably could
  4. correct. but he would be within his rights (and pre-nominated min requirement) to only sign a 1 year contract , but with mfc he could happily sign for more years perfectly legally
  5. can you reword that. i didn't fully understand when jake nominates his required contract price/duration at either psd or nd it is a minimum requirement which the club he goes to must honour but could exceed (e.g. the duration) but jake is only obliged to agree to his minimum. it would be a brave club to take him on 1 year (at high price) knowing he will request a trade at end of year, and hoping they could turn him around during that year. his other option (not really likely) is to stand out of footy. not sure if it is for 1 year or 2 years now
  6. forget it. we aint paying 2 x 1st round picks
  7. this should do plus a packet of chips
  8. if it goes to draft lever can set his price at 1M and 1 year contract. he can also make it clear that he will seek a trade after 1 year if he goes to any club other than melb (just like bucks did with bears). if he gets thru to melb he signs a contract for 4 years worth 3M with year 1 front-ended for 1M. nothing the afl can do about that. bottom line he gets to melb. only hitch is jake has to agree to tactic.
  9. nah, more a depth, utility type. just filler
  10. give them cake, i say

    Five Golden Rings?
  12. not quite 550K x 1.2 = 660k not 750k 750K / 1.2 = 625k pre cba
  13. think we can all agree on that without argument
  14. not only that, bub, something else not brought up yet was the ump's handling of play on. I counted 5 times when crows had taken a mark and made to handball but didn't, the ump quickly called play on and the player had to make a rushed ineffective disposal. In each case it seemed to me the player hadn't moved off his line. really stood out to me.

    anything i'm over watts
  16. if it is up to dank then it will be fake news, either real fake or perceived as fake if he produces paperwork it will either be either forged or selective and incomplete sure he can muddy the waters, but the net result would just be muddier if he tips someone else into it, it will be seen as just deflection he won't admit any guilt because the whole purpose would be to work again the sport business as others said before he won't turn up
  17. really? how do you figure that? he's not even a key position player at the crows lol
  18. sorry, he's not in AA team
  19. don't think crows will get into a bidding war. warner is a nothing trying to big note crows can cover for lever. he is not that vital to their structure. other crows have good/better cases for pay rises just journos try to hype it up

they hit him pretty hard with a 1 week suspension. that should teach him gutless [censored] tribunal. what have you got to do? kill someone? apparently if he got 2 weeks he got rubbed out for life. must have been some accumulation rule and they squibbed it. 1/2 week per hit. fmd
  22. he only got 1 vote because he was 4th best in 15 other games just joshing
  23. not many back men got votes. no glamour. too negative. umps like mids.
