  1. yep good game just sometimes he puts a little too much mayo on his kicking, need to cut that out as a backman and take the easier kick option agree about the stops
  2. listening to lyon, if i didn't know better, you'd think he was a filth supporter we are thrashing the filth and he still focuses on our errors ......hehas a bad case of mfcss
  3. decent rain band coming in from west....hit brissy in about 1/2 hour
  4. radar shows there has been quite a bit of rain in southern qld. wind has now changed to westerly which luckily is pushing most rain w to e just north of brisbane one small band left which should pass brissy in next 30-40 mins with just the tail of it giving maybe a light shower after that should be fine and ground should dry quick with temps still in low 20's, wind light dcweather(c)
  5. you wouldn't play harley at this stage in a wet rainy physical game
  6. rain forecast, don't think it will be a marking day (luckily for preussy)
  7. shouldn't need too much tank to keep up with grundy. grundy has already showed signs of tiring and is coming off a 4 day break preuss needs to hit him hard at ball ups and not give him any repite. i suspect grundy will limit his range, probably to mainly between the arcs having said that, grundy will probably play a blinder just because it's us
  8. i'll stick my neck out and say the swans have this won
  9. on top of that preuss has always struggled to play out 4 qtrs even when fit (though shorter game would suit him)
  10. yep, his kicking is too much up and under. i'm sure that could be coached out, but at least he doesn't shank the ball too often.
  11. has genuine speed and seemingly effortless acceleration, not break neck style of hunt i relax every time he has the ball as he seems to just burnoff any potential tacklers
  12. maybe, but i don't think they will put a lot of that money into a big messiah deal, i think they'd rather use that money to pick a range of lesser players from other clubs until their new draftees get upto scratch. guy like zac won't want to be a club building from scratch, he's been there before and wants a crack with a club in or near the window
  13. go suns.....[censored] them druggies
  14. that surprises me as all the talk is they are going in to a rebuild
  15. big yes for zac we are in list trade mode rather than drafting. being an fa is a bonus not to be scoffed at. if it costs a bit more $s then that's the way it goes
  16. i wouldn't take too much notice of who gets named as emergergency sometimes (not always) i think it is done for encouragement/morale reasons. a sort of "hang in there, we haven't written you off" type of thing
  17. camry's stiff to lose lynch and doedee to hamstrings
  18. need a good winger (with good foot skills)
  19. sorry if been discussed before, but i'm late to this thread i see lots of unfavourable comparisons to 2019 which seemed surprising and wondered if it could be due to the shorter game time this year. should the 2020 stats be multiplied by 1.2 to be comparable?
