  1. Read all my posts before adding your dribble.
  2. My horse must be losing weight.
  3. No reason why we can't beat them. Remember we were on top prior to the rain last year. Our contested ball against Sydney was great, maintain that and bring Frawley and Gysberts in and we're a real chance.
  4. Thanks for bringing some discussion to the thread, you're actually the first to do so. He will get exposed at times which is why he will need to perform his strengths very well to make it. He seems to have the confidence in his ability to give it a real shake which is great. To his benefit the club lacks players with his strength and kicking ability.
  5. I was at the game on Sunday and have since watched the replay so I've seen him play at the top level as many times as everyone else on this site perhaps even more since i watched the replay.
  6. I already did, but I'm not going to apologize for making a poor call. It certainly got people talking which I enjoyed to a point.
  7. I wasn't on my horse with the hunch about Tapscott, which by the way I've accepted it's weak premise. Of course feel free to use it against me every time I make a comment in the future. With regard to horses you and several others do ride around on them alot. I have no problem with that but you need to accept the truth.
  8. Around here facts, or lack of them have never stopped people getting on their high horse.
  9. I'm not going to roost it up anyone. I took the opposing line before sunday and now I'm just looking for a discussion about him as a footballer. I have no intention to say I told you so, especially since what I said was wrong!!
  10. Surely it couldn't be more transparent. Club has excess money earning 5.5% Schwab says lend it to me and I'll pay you 6.25 and pay you back in 3 years. Club says yes as it's secured. Can't see the problem. Are you the sort of parent that won't lend their kid any money without a security contract?
  11. Very encouraging news on Frawley and Morton.
  12. Actually I wasn't asking for judgement just putting a couple of discussion points out there. No doubt he played well and as nutbean pointed out there has been plenty of exceptional talent who aren't the current"shape" I raised the issues as after watching him play they were the only possible downsides I could find.
  13. So you don't feel like entering a discussion about his strengths and weaknesses?
  14. Left the game happy, almost felt like we won it. They should have buried us in the 3rd quarter. They completely dominated. Great effort by the team.
  15. He was lost yesterday, on a day when the ball hit the deck repeatedly in our forward line he should of done more. If Aussie is fit he should play.
  16. It's not criticism it's my observation of him as a footballer. The modern footballer is tall and agile or short, agile and very quick. Tapscott doesn't fit into either category. Time will tell whether he gets exposed because of it. And yes he was terrific yesterday.
  17. I was offered pie so I just asked to have it with cream and berries. I never said I was humble.
  18. As another pointed out he's unlikely to now become a star of the game but can he help us win a Premiership. Absolutely. We just can't lose Scully.
  19. In other words he doesn't want to make a mistake. it plays on his mind and it shows. He's naturally a quick decision maker so why do we continually watch hold up play. He's not yet playing on instinct, his brain is too involved and like all brains it's a tad scared of making a mistake. Argue all you like but on this I'm spot on.
