Changes vs West Coast
According to commentators we had 6 listed afl players for the 2nd's this weekend. The rest are injured. So its slim pickings. We need a smart game plan going into 50. what worked the last 2 times and even the GC was not kicking it in high, it was almost ground balls to take their markers out of the play. The other is shutting down darling, when he plays well they generally play well. Either one its my 1 live game a year so hopefully we go for three win H&A wins in the west in a row.

Round 8 Non MFC Matches
Didn’t watch the whole game to comment, but in general it’s more where they are paid

Adelaide game is not pretty.

Round 6 Non MFC games
Not really the thread for it. But its more important for the club to persist with Trac and develop a culture and system of bringing the best out of players. More important than a potential trade. FYI: I would keep him as you can see its there.

Injury List - Season 2019
The high number of surgeries at once was us pushing players through the finals who obviously not 100%. In the past they would have been sent earlier if we were out of running for the finals. But there has been lots of questions asked about our fitness since Daniher left.

Round 6 Non MFC games
Thats the thing isn't it. Rome wasn't built in a day and for 4.5 yrs we made fun of Bucks, We also made fun of Hardwick but both have built competitive teams. The club believes they have such a person in Goodwin.

PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
He could not lift his arm near his shoulder height after the game.

Brendan McCartney & Cooney/Bulldogs situation
BM is highly skills in certain areas. The club hopefully has identified that and use it to our advantage. As for disagreements between coaches I'm sure it happens as they esp. in coaching will have firm views on how to best succeed. Are they robust conversations or augments, it can look very different to na outsider witnessing the same exchange. SG isn't listening to his assistants and doesn't agree with them he should change them as what are they bringing to the club? Also I imagine the pressure on one the whole coaching team to get us out of our current hole.

Sack everyone (mega-thread)
One example is looking at the total change of assistants and a review of hardwicks coaching style. They made changes and grabbed a flag. But had also replaced every single coaching assistant at the club for immediate impact. I dont know how that changed the approach but obviously it made a difference.

Sack everyone (mega-thread)
I dont seen the connection to be a "Star" footballer and a great coach. Highly gifted people often find it hard to get the best out of "average" people as they don't understand many of the challenges and how to overcome them. Bets example is Clarkson, he had his traits as a player but not a star. Besides its a "team" guiding our club not a few individuals.
