Caro is certain that Allen will get at least a 3 month suspension, if not more. When challenged on FC, she answered with "the others didn't know who she was talking to."
-
He said thanks.

Correct, but no pain no gain. You have to keep trying to find a gem and improve the list. We can't stagnate, we are not a GF side.

If the FD see something in a bunch of guys at other clubs, who haven't made it, at their clubs, I am prepared to back them in, as we need improvement. Getting rid of guys from our list, who can't add anything and trying others from other clubs, is one of the ways of regenerating a list. We need 2-3 good pick ups a year, in draft, trade, FA's etc. If you count Hibberd as 1, we would on average need 2 more this year. Where they come from, who cares.

The Jesse Hogan Panic Room - all contract talk here
Redleg replied to Grapeviney's topic in Melbourne Demons
Thanks. On the smaller picture he looked a bit like Neil Finn. PS. Doesn't he own an umbrella? -
Joel Hamling says hi. No games for Geelong in 3 years and in the GF with the Dogs.

Steven or Billy Stretch and where was it reported. -
Scintillating discussion on a variety of topics.

We are now a destination club, for coaches.

Hamling had 3 wasted years at Geelong, without a game and is now in a GF. There are guys who can play out there, you just have to find them.

I am not sure when he becomes a FA, but if it is in 4 years, it may be only a 3 year extension. Obviously would prefer longer, but deal could be a new 4 year contract, to replace last year of current one, on better money for next year and then allows him to renegotiate, or leave as FA . If the current rumour is correct, we should know soon after the GF. -
Well if you are that sure I accept what you say, but there is word being put out there that it is the opposite.
-
If his price is a first rounder, it's not debatable, he is simply not worth a first rounder.
-
Incorrect. He is actually not well liked among the playing group and that is one of the reasons he is tradeable.
-
I hear he is not a baad footballer.

Very sad news. Met Max a few times and he was a fantastic guy and always ready to have a laugh. Sent me a copy of one of his books, which I didn't have and refused payment. RIP. Max, a lovely guy and will be sorely missed by family and friends.

Don't think that necessarily applies to GWS. They still have players not getting a game, who clearly would at other clubs.
-
Not blaming Goody, but pity if you wanted to hear something about our club.

Read post 402 and my reply in 415.

Well that makes sense then. If being a FA stopped him being taken by a club, then we have done the right thing, in making it easier for him to find a new home.
-
Does delisting mean anything to FA status, as far as a club getting compensation?
-
Will just add as a sponsor of Jack for a few years, he gave his all for the club and is a really nice bloke. Wish him well for the future in footy and for his life in general. Thanks to Matt and Dean for their contribution as well and good luck for the future.
