  1. Other than family health, EVERYTHING.
  2. Then the first thing to do is not draft a Toumpas ahead of a MacRae. I know I shouldn't be mentioning it, but it is just so damaging to the list going forwards.
  3. I don't care being a Dees fan, but I thought the umpiring was the worst in GF living memory. The Dogs were given an armchair ride and with the Hawks, have been for years.
  4. Didn't see that coming. Brad Johnson gave Johannisen 3 votes. Carey didn't give him a vote in top three.
  5. But Kennedy wasn't wearing red, white and blue. I thought Kennedy was BOG by a mile.
  6. What's that got to do with what I said? Also some of those 15 mids were obtained through the rookie draft and late in the main draft, which is my point.
  7. That confirms the rumour I heard.
  8. 7 of today's Swans side and 5 of today's Dogs side were rookies. My point is you turn over your list with more chances to improve by getting rid of players who cannot assist the list.
  9. Well there are rumours JH will be announced on a 4 year deal next week. But yes, we are much better at keeping matters in house now.
  10. FWIW, Patton just on AFL 360 said he is going nowhere. He is contracted and wants to stay at GWS as he said they have a great future.
  11. Not a matter of fear but rather preference.
  12. Clayton Oliver our sprinter in GF sprint. Hunt and other quicks must be away on holiday or Clayton wanted free ticket to the game.
  13. Yes but the Swans won't smash the best young Doggies forward in the throat, early in the game, sending him off to hospital, or nearly paralyze the Doggies ruckman, when he is bending down trying to pick up the ball, with one of the hardest and dirtiest hits to the head, I have ever seen.
  14. I'll repeat what I said this time last year, just adding a bit about the banned players returning. I don't want us to play Essendon first game, in front of their crowd, when their returning players play their first game for the club. They will be fanatical and very hard to beat. I would much rather play them later in the year.
  15. Well that is different. Yes he has been the architect of change and our most valuable recruit.
  16. It won't be a shambles with Noble and Fagan coming in, with their long experience with successful sides.
  17. Well you are on your own there, as 18 AFL clubs and their footy departments would totally disagree with you. Have you noticed in trade week, how trades can get held up, only because of a few places lower a pick is, than a club wants? Clubs kill for good picks and you don't think they help much. Fair enough.
  18. Looks like the one we may get, is the one you don't want.
  19. McGlynn is 31 and will be gone soon for starters. Ted Richards is retiring. They have others they can get rid of.
  20. Let's just wait and see if it is 2 or 4 years, if he has re signed. 4 takes him to FA.
  21. Can you imagine the Swans win the flag, Mitchell wins the Norm Smith and then he leaves. Swans will find a way to keep him.
  22. Didn't make their GF team, so might be more inclined to leave now.
  23. And his team mate Jenkins.
  24. While I can understand to a degree the COLA, I cannot understand how these interstate clubs, get access to players through so called academies. The AFL should just be upfront and give whichever non victorian teams they want to win flags, the first 10 picks in the draft and to hell with everyone else.
  25. Did he say for which club?
