  1. Your imagination is too limited.
  2. You can amend quickly to moderately fast.
  3. Purely and simply we have absolutely stuffed up our recruiting over the last several years. Last year under a new Coach and Recruiting Officer looks more promising and w have to hope that they get every pick and trade right from now on.It can turn around very quickly though as we have seen with our undermanned side improving dramatically defensively in just one year. Add Hogan and with improvement in Salem, Toumpas, JKH, Kent, Tyson, Riley etc and with a few more good picks and trades we can turn it around quickly.
  4. Suns were terrible yesterday, it can't just be Ablett missing.
  5. No argument from me.
  6. Speaking of lunch I just had a great banana cinnamon smoothie. Feeling rather full. Might have to get up from the couch and take a long walk around the lounge room.
  7. Why not?
  8. Remember players don't tank. The players made mistakes nearly as many as the umpires. I have now seen 3 incidents replayed, which as agreed by Bob Murphy and Jordan Lewis on AFL360, which all went against us and cost goals or denied us shots from close in and there were more I am told.
  9. Are GWS tanking? 6 players including Cameron ruled out for the rest of the year.
  10. Pity only a few rounds left.
  11. Had a good time. At the airport hope to be back in Oz early Wednesday morning. Back in time for the bye.
  12. Don't know if we will get 5 wins this year, but we have clearly improved.Percentage is the first indicator. It is up. I think someone posted that we have lost 6 games by under 20 points. I seem to remember us playing most of our games in the last several years where we were out of it 20 minutes into the game. Then it would get worse. I would imagine that Stretch and maybe 2 good mids drafted and maybe another traded in plus Hogan and improvement in youngsters like Salem, JKH, Toumpas, Kent etc and another instructive pre season will have have us climbing the ladder quickly.
  13. Haven't seen the game yet but to take Port to under a goal at their home when they were desperate to win to get into the top four, was a great effort. We are definitely improving and this off season in adding personnel and learning will be vital to our future. We are on the right track.
  14. It is a thread that just keeps on giving.
  15. I understand now.
  16. That's like saying Nicholson could replace Buddy.
  17. Would love to play but I am in the USA until next week.
  18. Port must be happy they have us this week and at home to boot.
  19. Put them both in the forward line.
  20. Hot toddy anyone?
  21. You must have pretty ankles, if they are encased in a mud pack.
  22. Agree. Chip will leave and Tom must stay. As to the PP, the excuse Mark Evans gave for us not getting one, as well as the unsaid closeness to the tanking issue, was that we had Clark and Hogan to come back. If we lose the experienced big bodied Chip, a pick will not replace him for a few years while the kid develops and Clark is gone and Hogan has a back issue. On top of that we will have had another year, about 8 in a row where we have been poor and at the bottom of the ladder. I would be in there now seeking one and telling him if we don't qualify, then no one ever will again. I would go hard as a pick would be tradeable and may get us another experienced player or two.
  23. We are a fair way off in the skills and finishing department. IMO we still need a big forward in addition to Jesse, another key back, a rookie ruckman and a few good mids. We then need to delist or trade those who can't use the ball properly.
  24. We have actually argued that a while ago, but the general consensus was that he did a good job in agreeing to a soft deal for the club, but not for CC or Dean Bailey. IMO Little is leading the Bombers to the precipice.
  25. On AFL 360 and in his Sun articles, over and over again.
