WJ raised an interesting issue with me last night while we were out dining with our SWMBO. Why do we seem to be the club that is forced to wear alternative strips so often? There are other clubs that seem to clash more but still wear their club jumper.

If I look for a positive, it is probably that under Roos we are learning to stay in the game. Last year that would have been a 12-15 goal defeat. We are working on the Sydney style, of defence first and it is reducing the losing margins and giving us some chance to still win games.

I have faith in Roos and his men to turn us around. I think it would be helpful on a few fronts if Roos announced he was with us for at least the full 3 years and would then consider the position after that.

I can see the benefit of that policy. 30 plus performances in consecutive games would generally get you a gig. Maybe that is a good thing.
