Thought I heard Tim Gossage in Perth, on SEN today, say that the Dockers would throw everything at Jesse to get him to come home and that Lachie Neale could be involved in a deal. He then went on to say, that his info was that Jesse liked it in Melbourne and would not be easy to move back home.

It will be a tough ask for us, flying all the way across Australia to Hobart.

I predicted this loss when the fixture came out and had not changed my view. On the way to the game we were discussing what could happen and it did. Then to hear Roos say some players were tired, in round 2, is just the biggest cop out of all time. Show some character and say we coached terribly and the players played the same. Just got back from a short break on the GC. Ate at Etsu a great Japanese Restaurant on Monday night. Last time I was there in summer I sat next to Prestia and Currie and their girlfriends. This time I saw Gary Ablett and his wife there. It is obviously a favourite place of some of the GC players. BTW the food as usual was great.

Throw in a 10kg heavier Weideman and/or Max King and it looks better still.
