I said Pedo will be staying. The quote referred to which one would go. I said it won't be Pedo going.

Might be able to help here, it won't be Pedo.
  3. Just enough to make him feel unwanted and financially disadvantaged.
  4. My mail is after Hurley, Hooker etc and Watson to come, the Bombers had to offload someone and Hibberd is the one. We made an offer to him and Bombers declined to even match it, in either years or amount. That is why there is such love between the parties. This is a unanimous deal, with ex club and player happy.

The Brisbane Lions are idiots. A couple of goals less and they have Pick 1 and PSD 1 to use on a rebuild. Just plain dumb.

I have no doubt even the AFL hierarchy would agree. Stupid, stupid and just plain dumb.

How about in a Bombers jumper and for free.

It would actually end up as probably a straight swap of O'Meara picks for Fyfe, if it happened.
  9. We don't have to upgrade the deal, it is done.
  10. I am curious, as to whether we can gain some useful picks by trading players, who are surplus to our needs. I actually think the Bombers are quite happy for Hibberd to go, as I am told that they refused to match our offer, both in dollar terms and years, which would have seen him stay a Bomber. They used a lot on Hurley and the others and one clearly had to go to make room. Now of course, he is the greatest player that ever lived. Like some others on DL, I am still not sold on him, but he could be useful with that long left foot kick. However, I am a real fan of Taylor and trust him to find us a gem.
  11. I would be thrilled if we did though. Even better if we got him with a late draft pick, like Jayden.
  12. If we lose to the Cats and Port win it could be 26. Get the bucket ready.
  13. Worsfold saying early 2nd round pick would be fair for Hibberd. Our 2nd round pick will be in first 8 picks of 2nd round. Therefore an early 2nd round pick. Deal is done.
  14. Just before people trade Salem like some wanted to delist Hunt, I will pass on the comments of a father of a boy, who played in Salem's year and saw him often and whose opinion has proved pretty accurate in the past. He told me that Salem was the equal of Kelly and that he thought he could be a great AFL player, when he fully develops and gets some games under his belt. Said he was hard at the contest, silky skilled and with a lethal left foot.
  15. Posturing for their fans. The word is the deal is done.

Tauto was one of my favourite racehorses. Around the time of Tobin Bronze, another favourite.

I don't like the bad publicity the banana is getting, because of some Port Power moron fan.
  18. You can relax. The word around the traps is that the deal has been agreed by both clubs, at our 2nd round pick. That is why Hibberd and Essendon are being so nice to each other and the CEO said they would help Hibberd get to his new club. There is love everywhere. All over. I think we will be looking at possible trades to get back into the 2nd round.
  19. Clearly not the winning experience.

If Misson is just hoping that a contracted player, who is not injured, concussion issues aside, will come back and do a little bit of training before the end of the year, then he has other issues and we should look at helping him retire.
