  1. Unfortunately, it means that as well as not getting Hooker, they will be more desperate for a big name and will go very hard at Jesse. We have our work cut out for us. I still think if we can sign a few others and they come out with positive statements, about all being in it together, loving the club and our improved list, etc, that will help. Of course wins will help as well.
  2. I heard a rumour that Freo might have gone a bit cold on McCarthy. Seems he has a few issues.
  3. I don't think it would hurt if we started signing a few of our players, to keep the momentum going as well. Most clubs have had a number of players sign new contracts and we have a number of important players who haven't.

Getting excited to finally see CP5 in a Dees jumper.

Yes, but did he predict that a midget would be the first in waving the flag?

Think I summed it up pretty accurately. Also forecast the Bombers loss 5 months ago. We are however building a good side.

I wonder why the ends of bananas both bend in the same direction?

CP5 getting closer. Probably next week.

Still makes some mistakes and needs to go with the first option, but has carved out a good career, for someone who was gone a few years ago.

I expect Maric and Deledio back against us this week, along with similar headlines to the Pies, about Dimma being under the pump. However, if we play to our best, who cares?
  11. That is the simple answer.
  12. More likely we know we need more key forwards, whether Jesse stays or goes. Dawes appears just about done and Pedersen and Frost are not good enough. The two Kings are probably the next best after Jesse and Weed and they haven't played yet.

You obviously haven't listened to Sultans of Swing.
  14. I know, I said it.

We don't seem to be very good " provers".
  16. Unfortunately I have learned one thing in footy, however much I rail against something, or whinge about it, or predict its happening as a warning, if it is going to happen, it does.
  17. I thought Neale was from Adelaide and would want to return there if he left WA. Also I thought Gaff just signed a new contract.

We keep coming up against teams that have something to prove and getting stronger with close to their best side.
  19. No one but Jesse, his Manager and maybe some of his family, would know what he intends to do, so for the rest of us, it is pure speculation.

Looks like we might be well under full strength this week, whereas the Pies have been greatly improved with Sidebottom, Toovey and Varcoe playing.

Great to see Jayden Hunt get his first game. Good luck to the kid.

I'd chuck some Galliano on it.

I do see the ones that go our way and am not that one eyed. Yes we kicked one goal less than North, but the way they got a lot of their goals is not that simple. That's like saying if I raced Usain Bolt in a 100 meter race and I was given a 90 metre start, therefore its simple, I beat him, without looking at what actually occurred.

Oh come on OD, we were robbed plain and simple and every Dees fan I have spoken to since sees it exactly the same way. Even my common sense son says it was a disgraceful effort by the umpires who robbed us of the game. There were so many poor decisions and 7 goals given to North, that our mistakes pale into comparison. Marks not paid, 25 metre kicks judged not 15, deliberate out of bounds one way, ducking and diving frees to Thomas and Waite, 3 throwing the balls by North that ended in goals to them, a ruck infringement against Gawn, who was in front of Goldstein and pushed in the back by Goldstein, resulting in a diabolical free and goal, which the commentators said was just terrible, Thomas jumping into Stretch to stop that final mark, the scragging of our forwards, soft 50's resulting in goals, need I go on?
