Delistings
Does delisting mean anything to FA status, as far as a club getting compensation?

Will just add as a sponsor of Jack for a few years, he gave his all for the club and is a really nice bloke. Wish him well for the future in footy and for his life in general. Thanks to Matt and Dean for their contribution as well and good luck for the future.

Might be a good time to make another little announcement as well.

I would imagine the players not involved in Casey finals would have had their exit interviews. So if another 16-18 had to be done after sunday, that should at least take a couple of days to complete. Expect announcements later in the week.

Unfortunately I now agree. His disposal was and is terrible. He can certainly get possessions in the VFL. That is a great start. You can also see when he gets the ball, he is a poor decision maker and appears like a rabbit in the headlights. Happy to keep him and work on his disposal, but if it doesn't improve, he won't be a regular AFL player.

It wouldn't be Roosy doing the telling and it is highly unlikely it would be done while a team had a live chance. Will happen in the coming days.

Don't think he was concussed in 2015. Just played terrible football in the main season, after some good games in the NAB Cup.

I was hoping for a good HL year in 2015 and 2016.

I still would hang on to Max King for another year, though most wouldn't, but hard to argue the rest. Unfortunately I think JT is also finished. I think Kennedy is not much either. I would rather back Taylor in the draft and trading in a couple of players with pace and skill. Something the above group don't have.

Not sure about that. The Wiz always regretted leaving us and has said it often. He said the best thing he did, was to get away to Melbourne.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
Probably because we could get them. Actually they add some experience, hardness and better delivery to the forward line, ( hear that Jesse ) than some of the players we have. Also, it probably allows us to move players like Hunt and Salem to the wings.

I agree. We are a destination club for Essendon 26 year old half back flankers. Probably the main one, since we have got two in successive years.

Ok, not the greatest. Very one sided. Will go hard and a nice left foot kick. Does have 80 odd games of experience.

No, I meant the others were being sarcastic, calling us a destination club, off the back of Hibberd coming. You didn't pick up on their sarcasm.

Turned the sarcasm meter off did you. They were joking.

I think if a player retires as a result of an injury, sustained from footy,he can be paid out up to half of his salary and there are salary cap benefits to that payment, despite the obvious saving.

I would imagine those discussions are taking place.

Plapp should be pleased to hear that.

He has 2 more years to go. I am over him.

Because we have such a great midfield?
