I would not want to lose Jesse, but if he indicated he wanted to go home and with FA approaching, I would ask for Freo's first pick and Cerra and Brayshaw or something similar and tell them do that deal or we will trade him to the Eagles. We could then take a key forward with that pick and hope he comes up.

Well I would add dumb as an adjective then. Clearly he got the statue for his playing not for being President. Also as I said earlier, to compare using the rules to manipulate a PP, as done and admitted by several clubs and ticked off as ok by the then CEO Demetriou, with injecting unknown drugs into players, is just plain stupid. It is actually a shameful proposition. Why did she feel the need to go there in the first place?

I think they would have their eyes on Kelly, who they could most likely get for the compo pick for Gaff and also save cap room. If that is happening they clearly won't match. The real question is who will Gaff nominate.

Let's throw in some other factors though they may mean little. Gaff was a Dees fan. Dees are on the up with a talented young squad. He would automatically be our best outside mid. If he played 100 games with us and had a son who was good enough, the son would be eligible to play in his home state with Dad's club. Life membership of the MCC . Play most games on the G. Promise of good employment after footy with one of our financially strong supporters. Good contract, though not the best available, but enough to make him financially secure. He want's Redleg and his family cheering for him.

Not a blooper but probably a big fib. Woosher all week said Goddard and the club were on the same page about his future. Today we learn that Goddard was shocked to learn that he was being delisted and totally disagreed with the decision. Yep on the same page.

Would be happy to play Cats at G in our final and pay them back for our 2 close losses this year. Viney in won’t hurt. Don’t think he played in either game.
