  1. I think " hate" is too strong a word.
  2. Those are ridiculous odds.
  3. So atm more than a third of the flag team out. Wow, a win tomorrow would be special.
  4. RIP Ray Manley. Former football manager of the Dees has passed away. A really good Demon and a nice guy. Sincere condolences to family and friends.
  5. Yes that should be discouraged. I agree it is a dangerous practice. PS. Excuse the levity, but we have enough heads up butts in the AFL already.
  6. Taj went off injured late in the game with a head knock and it wasn't his best game.
  7. Yes it's important, but these days the free is usually paid against the player doing what Dunkley did. This is done to protect against the serious risk of major leg damage to the player running in.
  8. And flying Shane and Deanne and Taj's siblings, over to watch Taj's first game with us will complete the healing.
  9. Don't think so. I think he will stay on hbf as a distributor. IMO it suits his style of play and is most beneficial for us. More chance of Hunt playing on a wing IMO.
  10. Looks like it just got better. Available this week.
  11. Plenty on here didn't 18 months ago. Same with JJ.
  12. He needs a block of games to get his confidence up and not feel like he will be dropped if he spills the next mark. Players play with a bit more freedom and instinct when they feel they are part of the side. He has the attributes and I think he is one breakout game away from being an automatic selection and playing good consistent football.
  13. Absolutely!
  14. Yes we are and we simply had a bad night converting opportunities. As you said, a few more goals instead of points and it is a thrashing.
  15. Mabior Chol as his mentor probably helped.
  16. The great Guru Bob.
  17. Yes Balta, Reiwoldt and Lynch agree.
  18. Yes shown over and over on fox footy. Try AFL site under MRO this week and they will probably have some video. Pretty ordinary action by Cotchin and clearly deliberate.
  19. Yes I posted that very thing earlier and it's only a matter of time. Then when the player complains, another 50. Hope it's not us.
  20. Settle down Jaded. How Cotchin didn’t get at least a week is mind boggling. He could have really done some major damage to Walker’s leg with his studs. No wonder Walker was furious with the MRO on radio yesterday. The AFL didn’t like his comments, but watch them do nothing, to make it all go away. Cotchin has repeatedly got away with incidents that others would have been penalised for.
  21. Not according to 20 year VAFA umpire Brian Clarke, who says it is making it much harder for he and his fellow umpires and leading to more crowd anger. Veteran former AFL Umpire Darren Goldspink agrees with him. If they follow the AFL on this in junior footy, more morons will attack/abuse the umpires and cause even more problems. People need to understand that everyone agrees with umpires being treated respectfully. It is the heavy handed approach of the AFL that is the issue here.
  22. Either can I.
  23. Think you have missed the point. That is clear dissent and has always been. We are now penalising players who STAND on the mark, don’t say anything to the umpire, or even look at the umpire, but merely put their arms out. Too bad if they put their arms out, merely to put the player having the kick off his kick. The rule is arms out 50. That is a joke, except nobody is laughing.
  24. Clearly it’s do as I say, not as I do.
