Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
Freo demanded and got pick 2 for Lachie Weller.

As I have said, Essendon has several young talls and they are apparently into Bedford. Cox, Jones, Bryan, Baldwin, Reid, Eyre, Voss, Brand, Mc Bride are all not going to be in their 22. With 2 metre Peter down forward, they can't go too tall. Hope we are looking at this list. While not all are key forwards, it would allow us to add depth to key stocks and more options in different positions.

Better extend his contract before he gets âhomesickâ.

We all agree on that. But Jason is not infallible. Would you rather have Weid or Curnow or H. McKay. I am not blaming JT here, but trying to show that good picks donât guarantee a good player. When you lose or gain an AFL player, there is exposed form at AFL level and you have a fair idea of his ability. Drafting is often based on hope that development will see the player making it, but that doesnât always happen. That is why if Jacko goes, I would want to see one player at least, who is best 22 for us straight away, plus a top pick, plus steak knives, like maybe a Meek. Imagine losing Jacko, and getting a couple of picks that donât get us a regular top 22 player. It would be a disaster of sorts.

Will send a memo to all race callers to quit if they weren't jockeys or trainers.

It is laughable how supporters boo their club's ex players, but cheer those who now play for them. I have only ever booed one Ex Demon and I don't even mention his name.

If he goes you will be in the majority on DL.

You can imagine Bellâs opening line. â we only want to give a kid the chance to come home and eat his mumâs cooking and watch TV on the couch with his family. Heâs not that great a player and might never be one. So what will you give us to take him off your hands and free up some salary cap room?â

If that figure is anywhere near true, you go home, play at the club your family is connected with, who are your supported club and they are currently top 4, it imo is a no brainer for Jacko and he is gone. I donât think we would get anywhere near that offer and nor should we. Do the best deal Dees and donât get shafted. Freo offer a ridiculous salary and should pay a commensurate trade. We should get a very good player, a top pick and maybe Meek as steak knives.

TBH I haven't seen much of him and was really asking what those who might have seen more of him think. He was all the rage in his draft year.

Not to do with LJ, but would you look at Brodie Kemp at Blues. 193 cms and not getting a game. Mids too strong and key forwards hot, keeping him out.

He is AFL listed below average, on Intercept Marks and Kicks. He is 24.

Haven't Freo traded this year's first round pick? That deal would be a shocker for us anyway.

Team first - for certain a goal
Then on the other hand how many times have we stuffed up simple passes and fumbled etc? Even the great Tracc fumbled, when alone in the goal square and wasted a Joe the Goose gimme. Is it not possible that on a couple of those Fritta non passes, he just didnât see/grasp the opportunity. When he didnât handball to Tracc, he was running into goal and may not have realised that a player was going to run him down, did Tracc yell âyou are hotâ and also Tracc was standing on the points line facing him. Fritta was in the best position to score until he was grabbed. Maybe he didnât notice Langdon at right angles and on the other side of the ground to him, as he ran in. The Spargo one on Sunday was the worst. Fritta copped a bake from Spargo and probably others and seemed upset. After that he was looking to pass every time. He has been our best forward for a while and maybe we donât crucify him, but coach him to be more aware.

Dogs have 2 days more break and we are coming off interstate game again with shorter break. That is the 2nd time in 3 games. Well done AFL.

The No T$ No B$ Thread
Dees were refused a priority pick when we were worse that Roos for several years. Now Blight saying Crows, who have won more games in last few years than the Roos, is saying they should also apply for help. A joke. If Clarkson goes to Roos, you can absolutely guarantee a priority pick.
