Uncle is a very humble and giving man, as we all have seen on here.
  2. Wouldn’t mind playing the Dockers without Serong, Young, Cox and Frederick.

    I know an Allen Gory.
  4. I wonder if it’s “not working “, just because Max is in poorer form than the last few years. Max dropping simple marks for example, cannot be blamed on Grundy playing. I am also pretty confident the two of them will be playing together in more games this year.
  5. Or it’s selection specifically for this week’s matchups/opponent.
  6. Yes and how many are the ladder leaders playing? Cox and Cameron aren’t much different to our combo. We haven’t lost games because of our rucks, we have lost quite a few games simply because of poor disposal and poor goal kicking accuracy. Whatever we do game by game, Grundy has kept Max fresher than in other years and that has to be a plus. I could actually see Grundy smashing packs and playing well in finals.
  7. Wouldn't have minded our game against the Dockers without Serong and Young, their best two behind Jacko. Probably would have us cemented us in the top 4 and with pick 4 at the moment.

That’s a possible reason why his form has gone off.
  9. Agree, but hope we are secure in 4th place before the game.

    That's what the poster meant.
  11. Jefferson is ok and should make it with physical development, while Adams is improving each week and looks a chance.
  12. I am delighted. Also Bowey, Rivers, JVR, Woey, Howes, Kozzy, Sparrow, Jefferson, Turner D, Adams, Turner K, Verrall, Laurie, JJ and more young players, all 23 and under, with good draft picks in hand to get more young talent this year

That would be a big part of the reason this is happening on the Suns' side and heaps of cash on the other side.

    Yes

I would imagine the Seaford community is very happy.

Excuse me: Clarry 6 games and likely 10. Fritta not right most of the season and then missing about 10 games. Tom Mac surgery and half a season missing. Salem nearly half a season. Gawn 5 games. Petty a few games. BBB multiple games. Hibbo half a season at least. That is 30% of the Premiership side missing large chunks of the season, affecting team performance and continuity. Also several injuries contributed to the loss of the game in which the injury occurred.
  17. That’s good. He is developing nicely and pressing for a chance. As Tommo played the game out, I assume Petty is also ok. I liked Adams game, even though his opponent got a few goals, though maybe not his fault with a soft free on one. Thought he was starting to look assured. He has a beautiful kick on him too. Could be ok in the future.
  18. Think it’s closer to $1m a year.
  19. And I’ll be right next to you.
  20. Your last line could be the reality.

Merrett, Parish and McGrath 60 possies between then to half time. The difference in the Bombers and Saints is the coaching. They are essentially the same sides as last year. I agree with another poster, that if we can win our next two, we likely keep the double chance. I hope the Giants loss doesn’t come back to haunt us. Besides our woeful kicking for goal, 3 things stuffed that game for us, Fritta’s injury, that pathetic 50 and goal to Toby, against an innocent Harmes and Hunter’s stupid, jumping off the ground, head high tackle, in the Giants’ goal square.
  22. Not really, he hasn’t mentioned Collingwood.
  23. Yes on Howes, but with Schache, while he is kicking goals, mostly from frees or soft marks, he doesn't like the hard ball and that is very evident. Goody is not a fan of that. However on output, ( goals ) you would put him in the frame if we have the injuries. TBH he could probably play the Fritta role for a few games, but I don't see it happening. Tommo is very very unlucky, not to be playing regular senior footy.
  24. This English guy commentating is mixing up his players. Called Schache Laurie after a goal and Moniz Wakefield, Chandler and then Munro, before getting it right.
