  1. Can't remember being less excited about watching our team. Dees are favourites in the wet.....Load up on the Bloods
  2. R22 Melb v Syd, Fri 16 Aug, 7.50pm, MCG IN: Spargo, Stretch, Neal-Bullen, Hore, Chandler OUT: May, O.McDonald, Hunt, Baker, Petty
  3. Did Gus forget his helmet in the first qtr??
  4. Difficult to watch, however I'm grateful an unwell child kept me home from watching it live in the cold. Glad it's nearly over.
  5. As long as Nev is on our list I'd say this would be worth the risk. He could not get a better mentor to get him into line in my opinion .
  6. Agree.... He was awful but we've got nothing to lose by playing him for the final few games, it's perfect opportunity to get games into him and a chop out for Max. Hore in for Lever (playing sore) May in for Hunt. Oscar in same boat as Pruess.... Was god awful but we need to play him, maybe throw him n May forward rotating. Result is irrelevant, time to experiment for 2020.
  7. Keilty amongst the best with 8 disposals and 22 dreamteam points??? Must have been 6 incredible handballs
  8. Pizzweak comment, he's far better than half the team out there tonight
  9. He's a Tiger fan whipping boy, they'll be stoked to get a trade for him..... No thanks.
  10. I don't know much about Keath to be honest, but there is a bit of a love fest for him in the media it seems. Someone started a thread about Frost to the wing which I initially thought no way, but it may be worth experimenting with these last few rounds when both Hore n May return. A bit of Frost Footy into out F50 would be far more unpredictable than bombing long like we do only for the opposition to pick us off every fuggn time.
  11. AVB is listed as TEST. Would be awesome to see him play the last couple of games.
  12. Pretty sure one of The Eagles players were heard saying Melbn are Shizen during the team song post game
  13. JKH papers Officially stamped ....unlucky not to be rewarded this year when half the side have been bog ordinary .
  14. Maybe he was right.....how tall is Spargo??
  15. What about Freak and Yze_Magic......or are they still here??
  16. When all the talk about us being into May started up late last year I was a little underwhelmed. From the handful of times I watched the Suns play I just thought of him as an aggressive, hard at it defender. A gorilla tamer as some are referred to. Yes his introduction to the club was not ideal, and he acknowledged that. Many on here were quick to join in the witch-hunt. I had no idea how quick he is for a big man and also how good a kick he is. He is one of those players that I'm relaxed when the ball is in his hands. He will rarely lose one on one contests. I also felt he was a reluctant skipper at The Suns , basically the best available in an inexperienced team. He oozes leadership and I'm loving what I'm seeing from him in that department. I met Steven pre season before all the negative news hit the media. He's a very likeable, approachable bloke, very different to what I was expecting. He was as absolutely stoked to be at Melbourne. I reckon we've got a ripper on our hands. The thought of him, Lever and Jetta playing a full season together is tantalising and will go a long way in turning our fortunes around next year.
  17. Just watched the last qtr again. I'm struggling to find one of our players who over-celebrated? What a complete non story !
  18. The Big Man has come from a Rugby League background, has just turned 24 and has played a handful of games. He's also learning from the best in the business. Give him some time to develop for crying out loud. I thought he did a great job pretty much rucking alone in his first game back in 10 weeks. Talk of trading him is laughable really.
  19. Heath Shaw on multiple occasions, BJ Goddard every game he ever played
  20. Hmmm Kay. Is he injured??.........
  21. "Tell Him he's Dreaming!!"
  22. This pinching BS will filter down to junior footy I guarantee it. My 9yo has already been continuously punched in the back against a couple of teams this year.
