Yeah, thats what its like isnt it. We can have a great run of wins, but 1 poor game and the doubt come racing back immediately. Trust is something thats going to take a lot of time to build, considering our recent (and not so recent) history. A win tonight would help ofc, but i dont think we have it in us yet. Whatever happens tonight, i still think we will make the finals. I guess thats trust after all.

Not excited about this game tbh. I think Port will win, and win very comfortably. We should win the 3 after that though, which will keep us in the 8. Roll on finals.

We will play finals. Yes, the Collingwood game was rank.... We were rank. That doesn't immediately make us a terrible team. We are a decent team who had a bad game. Extremely one-sided match. To be only 2 goals down is a miracle. Will need something special in the second half to come close the way were are travelling atm. We could still win, but will need to play much smarter.

Wont have the required draft currency till next year anyway, so unless we are happy to give them one of our good players, i cant see it happening this year. No harm in openly targeting players from a long way out though. It worked for us with Lever. I love the way we are run these days.

I'm only hearing how much he loves Port, and get laughed at whenever i suggest he should play for us. Not him, but someone who regularly catches up with him at Port ( although nobody can read his mind ) Would love him in our side, but I'm not getting excited yet. I have higher hopes for Gaff tbh. We dont just have to dream any more. Our list, coupled with our form means more and more players will be happy to consider us without getting massive paydays.

Seriously though, I'm pumped with this news. Could easily have fielded offers and watched his price go through the roof. How much would he have been worth on the open market? If his form held out, he would be looking at Million dollar P.A. offers from several clubs I reckon. Obviously, our offer was good enough for his commitment for the next 4 years. Im still super confident we will have a big pot of cash to throw at free/restricted agents at years end, and each win pushes down the price good players will accept to come to us. I have worded up my partner for tonights shift and we are madly putting everyone in bed. Marvelous how the residents all chose of their own free will to have an early night. Almost never happens (Good for the replay straight after i slip them all some extra "happy pills") GO DEES!!

Im at the nursing home this arvo. Luckily we have big screen TV's in both lounge rooms, and enough footy supporters amongst the residents to "demand" the game is on. Anyone who complains will be plonked in a wheelchair and taken to their room for some "quiet time". I will also be hiding the remote control to foil any bids to ruin my day. Most cant walk anyway, so as long as no visitor makes trouble, it should all be ok. If not, nurse grumpy will complain of Gastro symptoms and hide in the loo where i can live stream radio. I never get disturbed there as im the only male nurse. All good !! GO DEES !!!

This one is ours to lose. Dogs in terrible form v Dees in a purple patch. They arent scoring v we are breaking records. Their confidence is low v ours sky high. On top of all that, its Chunks huge milestone game. Shorter break for us might take a few goals off the margin, but im still tipping us by 40 points or so.
