Anyone for cricket?
Anyone surprised Rabada got off? The instant i saw that a Kiwi bloke was hearing the appeal i would have bet my life savings that he would be able to play. I fully expect Australia to be utterly humiliated on the field in the next test. Rabada to have another 10-for match. Both Marshes to fail twice. Smith to fall to Rabada both times. Saffas by an innings.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS

His family ( old man in particular ) hate our club for overlooking him last time we had the chance. We said we were gonna pick him but obviously didnt. MFC are not likely to be much of a chance even if he does want to leave. Dont have anything more than that but i do keep asking the question of my source- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
Hard as a cats head and hates losing........... AND he has skills. Exactly what we have needed more of for years. Might just be our biggest surprise packet in "18- THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
This post made me quit glue sniffing...................................- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
I started barracking for this post.......- Anyone for cricket?
Yep it was good, but lets see what happens for the rest of the series. Great players back it up. Unfortunately Marsh isnt a great player. Hope he makes me eat humble pie.- Anyone for cricket?
How the F does Shaun Marsh get ANOTHER chance to embarrass himself. I am absolutely gobsmacked that this turnip gets a cap yet again. Bloke is not, and will never be a number 6. Totally defies logic.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
The Bombers did better out of that deal than most realise. The initial report wasnt the whole story. Essendon receives Devon Smith, a second-round draft selection (no.24 overall at the time of trade) and a future second-round selection From Greater Western Sydney GWS Greater Western Sydney receives a first-round draft selection (no.11 overall at the time of trade) and a future third-round selection- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Well knock me down with a feather...... do you mean to say we are already negotiating????- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
What part of "negotiating" dont you guys get? Final numbers to be sorted, but its STILL part of negotiations.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Bolded part is just plain wrong. It goes on for weeks before the official start of trade period. If not, what do you call the meeting between AFC and MFC where the Crows plodder walked out?- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Heard anything at all about other potential targets?- Jack Lukosius
Not sure why Demonland would be overly excited about a potential top 5 pick next year. If we were a chance, well sure, lets read all about it. Only way we could look at picks that high is if we traded someone like Hogan at the end of next season. *Shrug.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Yep, liking this post. I would like it to be done early so we can then work on other ways to improve our list. The more time to do deals the better.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
If true, it makes it hard for them to demand 2 first rounders for a bloke they only offered 300k............. Regardless of what we offered.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Are we likely to need to trade out some of our better players for picks to allow us to trade for these 3 targets, or is/are some of them FA's that wont need to be traded for?- Josh Kelly
i remember that post, and immediately thought the same thing when i saw he was going to re-sign for just the 2 years. I guess it has to be said then..................... WELCOME TO THE MFC JOSH KELLY !!!! (in 2 years) Its happening right?- Kobe Farmer
I would like this post even if it was a total lie.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
No doubt about it. Cant count your chickens and all that. Im sure Adelaide will drive a hard bargain. Every club has the responsibility to extract the best deal possible when a quality player leaves. Sure, he could be seduced by the big bucks, but so far there has been zero indication Nth are even in contention. (Cue Mitch Clark scenario..........) My fingers are crossed we land him as i believe he will be a huge addition to the side. Mac Snr could very well win the Coleman next year lol. *jks- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
If Jake choses us, its irrelevant what North has to offer trade wise as they are not involved in the deal. Adelaide may hope he chooses a team with better picks, but they wont have the option to tell Lever where he must be traded. So yeah, if jake wants to come to us, The Crows will just have to accept what we can trade. Contract price is obviously a different story so i agree with you there. Welcome to Ninthbourne Jake !!- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Yeah, i get that..... i just want to know that we dont suck so bad that nobody will pick us to be traded to. If we go into next year without adding anyone other than kids from the draft i will be concerned, as i have little confidence that our current list can improve enough to give it a genuine shake.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Lever would have to think very hard if it was a choice between us and Collingwood. For a start, the Pies have the popularity that we dont, and for some players the extra adulation alone is a tangible thing. We cant sell him on our list being better because he saw us lose to half a Collingwood side a week ago. Those sorts of things can easily tip the balance if he wasnt already 100% sold on a particular club. If the money was roughly the same, im not sure why he would pick us right now. I will hate him forever if he doesnt though. Everyone knows we are better than Collingwood right? I hope Chooks mail is right and he is on his way, but this club has crushed me so many times i just cant believe anything positive until it actually happens.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Wouldnt trade Brayshaw. Has the natural ability to become a fantastic player if he can stop getting knocked out. I like your first idea though as we wouldnt miss Bradshaw at all.
