Contain your excitement guys. Wines to MFC wont happen.
  2. So we would be selling out to fund our new home? Awesome, somewhere to call home permanently is long overdue. How do we replace that income ? ( not just question for you AF )
  3. We have a long way to go financially before we can afford to jump on the Virtue-Signal train. All this will do is make us even MORE reliant on the AFL for coin. The League never does anything without expecting some sort of quid.pro-quo. Hope some of you are happy to get more Sunday arvo games, and home games against all the big clubs like GWS and Freo..All without us getting all whiny and making a fuss. Cant risk our head office funding and all that. We cant expect any free favors from AFL house for being nice corporate citizens. There had better be something in the pipeworks or this is a stupid idea.
  4. What the actual [censored] has happened to our cricket team? How did they come to a collective decision that cheating was ok? Maybe they felt so [censored] off with South Africa in general (and there are no more arrogant supporters in the world) that somehow it justified in their tiny little brains that beating them at all costs was ok. Smith must be sacked. Anyone who agreed to cheat must also serve time, even if we cant field a team for the last game. Send 'em home in disgrace.
  5. Anyone surprised Rabada got off? The instant i saw that a Kiwi bloke was hearing the appeal i would have bet my life savings that he would be able to play. I fully expect Australia to be utterly humiliated on the field in the next test. Rabada to have another 10-for match. Both Marshes to fail twice. Smith to fall to Rabada both times. Saffas by an innings.

Nah sounds more like he was just very disappointed that his lad didnt go to MFC. He really did want us to pick Ollie. Our fault, not his i think.

His family ( old man in particular ) hate our club for overlooking him last time we had the chance. We said we were gonna pick him but obviously didnt. MFC are not likely to be much of a chance even if he does want to leave. Dont have anything more than that but i do keep asking the question of my source
  8. Hard as a cats head and hates losing........... AND he has skills. Exactly what we have needed more of for years. Might just be our biggest surprise packet in "18
  9. This post made me quit glue sniffing...................................
  10. I started barracking for this post.......
  11. Yep it was good, but lets see what happens for the rest of the series. Great players back it up. Unfortunately Marsh isnt a great player. Hope he makes me eat humble pie.
  12. How the F does Shaun Marsh get ANOTHER chance to embarrass himself. I am absolutely gobsmacked that this turnip gets a cap yet again. Bloke is not, and will never be a number 6. Totally defies logic.
  13. The Bombers did better out of that deal than most realise. The initial report wasnt the whole story. Essendon receives Devon Smith, a second-round draft selection (no.24 overall at the time of trade) and a future second-round selection From Greater Western Sydney GWS Greater Western Sydney receives a first-round draft selection (no.11 overall at the time of trade) and a future third-round selection
  14. Well knock me down with a feather...... do you mean to say we are already negotiating????
  15. What part of "negotiating" dont you guys get? Final numbers to be sorted, but its STILL part of negotiations.
  16. Bolded part is just plain wrong. It goes on for weeks before the official start of trade period. If not, what do you call the meeting between AFC and MFC where the Crows plodder walked out?
  17. Heard anything at all about other potential targets?
  18. Not sure why Demonland would be overly excited about a potential top 5 pick next year. If we were a chance, well sure, lets read all about it. Only way we could look at picks that high is if we traded someone like Hogan at the end of next season. *Shrug.
  19. Yep, liking this post. I would like it to be done early so we can then work on other ways to improve our list. The more time to do deals the better.
  20. If true, it makes it hard for them to demand 2 first rounders for a bloke they only offered 300k............. Regardless of what we offered.
  21. Are we likely to need to trade out some of our better players for picks to allow us to trade for these 3 targets, or is/are some of them FA's that wont need to be traded for?
  22. i remember that post, and immediately thought the same thing when i saw he was going to re-sign for just the 2 years. I guess it has to be said then..................... WELCOME TO THE MFC JOSH KELLY !!!! (in 2 years) Its happening right?
  23. I would like this post even if it was a total lie.
  24. No doubt about it. Cant count your chickens and all that. Im sure Adelaide will drive a hard bargain. Every club has the responsibility to extract the best deal possible when a quality player leaves. Sure, he could be seduced by the big bucks, but so far there has been zero indication Nth are even in contention. (Cue Mitch Clark scenario..........) My fingers are crossed we land him as i believe he will be a huge addition to the side. Mac Snr could very well win the Coleman next year lol. *jks
