  1. Well the Ben Cousins show what a fizzer. And he has pulled a hammy. Good bye Ben for the next 8 or so weeks. What will the Herald sun put on the front page now!!!???
  2. Thank you Andrew for the support and for a fantastic product. You must believe that both the MFC and Kaspersky will be No 1 soon!!!!!
  3. I think let every one believe we will finish last. Go ahead under estimate us I dare you. Go Dee's
  4. For all those who want to support our new sponsor you can have a FREE trial that works 100% for 30 day. IF your using some of those othe AV programs you will see a huge difference in the speed of your PC. Try it here, http://www.kasperskyanz.com.au/googleads/
  5. Fantastic. Kaspersky is actually the best Anti Virus software on the market http://anti-virus-software-review.toptenreviews.com/ I have been using it for years
  6. For those that couldn’t make it. It was the best Family day, at least for the last few years. The gates at Luna Park were a little late opening (9.30), and it was slow going to get in. There would have been approx 1000 people at the start, but don’t quote me I’m not great at estimates. If you were there to try the free rides you would have been disappointed as the queue for every line was huge. If anyone got in 3 rides from opening to 11am you were lucky. Anyway I wasn’t there for that. The crowd was far bigger than last year, (I said LY 2000 but the club said 4000). I personally saw most players, and all coaches and most staff. I spoke to Rivers, Wheatly, Marric, Jetta, Baily, Williams, Connley, Watts, and Scwab, as well as a few staff. I asked all when is the MFC likely to have a 100 goal kicker, amongst a few other questions. Most didn’t realise we have need had a century goal kicker. But most said look out for Watts (Except Watts of course). Every player and staff said watch this kid, he is going to be something special. He is a great kid. He seemed to have his two feet on the ground. I also spoke to the member’s tent, and estimates say approx 1000 to 1500 new members today. A great result! I really couldn’t give a real count of the crowd but I recon double what “I” saw last year. All in all great value, the show bag was fantastic value for $5. And the merchandise was also good. They sold out of a all old footy jumpers. Anyway Great job Jimmy and crew. Go Dee’s P.S Club Eddies family day was going on only a few KM’s down the road, and I know a few (incognito) spys came for the free rides, as there day had very little entertainment, and said ours was better!
  7. Forget about bagging Colin. The season has not started. He is a MFC player and we don't want to be like team Eddie. I saw Col in the Sydney game and he was great. Colin was part of the 2003 draft. Go Demons! Who would you have replaced him with? 1 Adam Cooney Western Bulldogs 2 Andrew Walker Carlton 3 Colin Sylvia Melbourne 4 Farren Ray Western Bulldogs 5 Brock McLean Melbourne 6 Kepler Bradley Essendon 7 Kane Tenace Geelong 8 Raphael Clarke St. Kilda 9 David Trotter Kangaroos 10 Ryley Dunn Fremantle 11 Beau Waters West Coast 12 Ryan Murphy Fremantle 13 Brent Stanton Essendon 14 Fergus Watts Adelaide 15 Troy Chaplin Port Adelaide
  8. Total crap. I used to be somewhat of a fan with Sam, but now with Crawf, they'er just like two naughty kids. The only good thing is Hutchy. Watch the NRL show and they show you a good range of info and fun. not some 60 yo pretending to have a w**k!! And bring back Trev!
  9. More than a new AFL team sponsor?
  10. Good point. Look at the back page of the Sun today "NOT AGAIN" in regards to Col. Basically a half page. Our sponsorship announcement was numerous pages back and just a few line. As I recall, when the dogs announced Mission foods they got a huge spread. And you wonder why we can't get the big bucks for s sponsor?
  11. Look at the 2004 draft. if Meesen had half the ability of these guys were would we be now! Year Pick Player Club 2004 1 Brett Deledio Richmond 2004 2 Jarryd Roughead Hawthorn 2004 3 Ryan Griffen Western Bulldogs 2004 4 Richard Tambling Richmond 2004 5 Lance Franklin Hawthorn 2004 6 Tom Williams Western Bulldogs 2004 7 Jordan Lewis Hawthorn 2004 8 John Meesen Adelaide 2004 9 Jordan Russell Carlton 2004 10 Chris Egan Collingwood And Adelaide bascially gave him away. Come on John we need you, pick up your game!!
  12. From what I’ve seen so far this year in the practice matches, Spencer will be an asset we did not expect especially at this early stage. A quote I made on 28th Feb after the Sydney game, “Spencer will be a player of the future. At the moment he needs a better footy brain. He had 2 kicks smothered from marks and some disposals went way ward or put players under pressure, but IF Jamar can improve we could get back to the days of the Twin Towers, Stynes and O’dwyer. This is a big if, but the way Paul Johnson is going there is a back up. Unfortunately Meesen, whilst in the first half didn’t get much time, he just didn’t look interested. For a guy that is being overrun by younger guys I would have thought he would have wanted to really impress. I have a small felling that we will do far better than most expect, don’t forget, Watts and Bleese and a few others are yet to make appearances. Go Dee's in '09
  13. thanks. just posted. Sometime we have so many discussions on the same thing in different threads.
  14. Meesen has been a disapointment for all. Don't forget he was a first round draft pick for the crows and the dumped him. I saw Meesen at the Sydey game, and based on what I saw, he would never make our best team EVER! He was slow, he had poor attitude, and seemed to lack confidence. He needs to have a blinder against the dogs for him to get my vote.

If Robbo is 8+ weeks away we could place him on the long term list.
  16. it would be better to kick out the interstate teams. bring back Sth Melb and Fitzroty, have a reserves and under 19 comp, and we all live happy ever after. I wish
  17. My look on the game similar to some. Overall our back line was the best I’ve seen in a long time with Warnock, Garland, Martin and Cheney leading the way. If we maintain that sort of defence we have a lot to look forward to. Hall hardly got a look in. The negatives are that we missed too many opportunities when we moved into our forward line, and we couldn’t use the breeze. As like last year we had a fade out and had a goalless (2nd) quarter and allowed SFC to kick 6 unanswered goals. It was almost 7 but it was just touched on the line in the 3rd qtr. Spencer will be a player of the future. But I was close enough to see him close up a number of times and there didn’t seem to have any determination, and his few disposals, we awful or he lost confidence and hand passed off. Davey, in the last quarter, showed, that whilst this was only a practice match, the chase down and smother was one of his best. If all the players had the same intestinal fortitude we would be unbeatable. All of the new guys showed good glimpses, but a lot of the rotations never gave the kids a long time on the ground. They should only get better. Unfortunately most of the senior players didn’t have match winning form, but rotations could affect this as well. Don’t just look at possessions but it is what it is done with it. Like Cheney caused a turnover in the 3rd qtr which was run down the ground and we broke the 6 streak by SFC and we kicked another 2 soon after. I hope this gives you some more insight to the game and our future.
  18. Sorry I can not work out the quote thing. From my post on 6th Jan "FACT !!!! I'm sorry that I can't reveal my sources however the MFC just missed out on a major sponsor to the bombers. This sponsor will be a grocery item. A new company into Australia that wants to take on “CC’s”. The deal was very big and we lost the deal of a number of factors, but the major one was our TV exposure. EFC got wind of our negotiations and pinched them. It proves that unless the MFC get better free to air TV we will not get sponsors tho the levels of the bigger clubs" I have not replied as I was awaiting to talk to my contact and EFC responce to the loss of the Mexican food company to the Bulldogs. EFC is furious. The AFL (MR A.D) got involved and bascially changed the companies mind. EFC workred on negotations for some 3 months. O well better the bulldogs than EFC. I'd rather it had been us!
  19. Whilst I can not give my real source, I did get this info from an EFC employee, and he told me that the sponsor was far more impressed with the EFC than the MFC presentation.

  21. Liam Jurrah is a great, yet underrated, story of this PSD. Well done. He has played with the Collingwood VFL side, trained with North Melb and played football in Cent Aust FL and Nightcliff in NT.
  22. He is currently playing football for Nightcliff in the Northern Territory and is dominating. Very exciting player. Born 23/9/88 188 cm 78 kg Originally from Yuendumu Magpies in the Northern Territory
  23. Yes, you can. For example MFC has delisted White. If 2 clubs want him, to ensure his services they would do a deal with the MFC, other wise White wolud just go into the draft and go to the first team to draft him. I hope this helps!
  24. For those that were there and the ones that weren't, sing it loud and be proud. http://bigpondvideo.com/afl/47269
