  1. I predicted that poor Stef would get dropped. Stef has been playing all around the place as a back man whilst rivers was out and then Garland, the ruck when the Meese went down, and the forward when Robbo got dropped. Stef will be the better I predict, with the experience in many positions. Unfortunately for a kid that only just came out of Basketball, it has been a little silly to give him so much responsibility so soon, at only 22. He will put pressure on all positions he has played in and will give us so much depth in the future. Good luck Stef.
  2. IN: Watts, Robertson OUT: Martin, Miller
  3. Great to see you on board "Heart Beats True"
  4. 6: Jamar 5: Rivers 4: McLean 3: Bruce 2: Green 1: Grimes
  5. love the guy, but i bet he holds the record for holding the ball this year!
  6. i dont care just F$#@$@$#in win one. then i can live happily ever after!
  7. My Heart wouldn't take it but C$#%#wood by 1pt after the siren!!
  8. Good to see Bell back. This will put pressure on guys to hold their spots. For some reason though, we are full of guys that play most of their time down back. O Yeah the Lions dropped TJ!
  9. Its like this, if you dont like noise, dont live next to the airport. AFL is for the fans, we pay the money, we bleed tears when we loose. Some players think they are bigger than the game. If they dont like it the way it is then find another career. The MFC will be smashed in years to come if free agency comes in. With all the kids we develope, clubs will be lining up for Watts, Blease and so on, and we will never get back what we put in.
  10. I know we need to do stuff like this, but the D's away from the G, it is so hard to swallow, plus it give the TV stations more reason to put us on F@$#'in Foxtel.
  11. It also helps get bums on seats. How many extra supporters do you think would come to a game if they had a chance to win $5k, Or would the money be better donated to the club?
  12. I know that some stats dont give a real idea of how a player played, but I was at the game today and Im a Rivers fan, and I didnt think he had a good day infact he had only 1 kick and 2 HP's for the day, so I find it had to see him get votes for the day.
  13. Hear Hear! Its the Boom Town Rats Song "I Hate Sundays" But I did go today!
  14. 6.SYLVIA 5.GREEN 4.BRUCE 3.MARTIN 2.JONES 1.MARIC
  15. I hope you are right. From what I saw today Morton has a very long way to be in the same class as Rioli.
  16. i admitt we were well out numbered, but I still thought that it would of been a 35/65 split approx.
  17. I know that if my aunt had whiskers she would be my uncle, but it is great to see a debate on a Hypothetical. We all can get passionate about stuff, but sometimes it is interesting to look back at what if. Any way it is always in ones opinion. Dont get personal, and I am glad that we are all passionate D's supporters.
  18. In reality you can only look at guys after Maric. However I believe no matter what you draft the best kid, and not what you need at the time. you can build a team around a super star over time (Not that the D's have had a super star for ages). Like the 2000 draft at 16 we took Scott Thompson (now gone), and we missed D Kerr at 18. And in the 2001 draft we took Luke Molan at 9 and missed N. Del santo at 13. But them's the breaks. It is just interesting to see what may have been! <_<
  19. How it happened or not, I suppose is not the issue. Racial taunts had to stop, and this was a moment in time that could be moulded into anti racial taunt in the AFL. However, I have umpired junior football since the early 80's and over 400 game, an I never heard a racial comment ever, only at me!
  20. Who would you have drafted? Selwood may be?
  21. Thats the way I heard it too. But dont let the facts get in the way of a good story!
