It was quite startling the difference wasn't it Andy, from landing at the airport and people yelling out to sign in with your QR code to mask wearing everywhere required and being told to do so if you were not doing it (even if it was not fitted correctly ie a nose poking out). Standing in our Pod was fine to not wear one, yet as soon as we walked over the rope "mask on pal!" Everyone making sure/checking you had scanned the QR code on entry/seating at a venue.

And how are the comments by Peter Moore, father of current player Darcy… “It’s Eddie without Eddie”?!

Just amazing to see it unfold as others have said it would, and old mate leading the membership petition.

Lol I was at my mothers with a group of 70-80yr olds and I just said the same thing, it is a disgrace now. They all said the vaccination centres they went to were deserted.

They love stand in Adelaide, we have the Sor Edwin Smith Stand, the Sir Don Bradman, the Chappell Stand, the Riverbank Stand and then one stand with Mark Ricciuto stand, Fos Williams stand, Max Basheer stand, Jack Oatey stand and Gavin Wanganeen stand… stands galore!

Not allowed on the road, and orange for one set and purple a different set. Purple ones go faster…

Ouch my head hurts after a few too many last night. So pumped for today, it’s a stunning morning here and looking forward to being at one of the most picturesque grounds in the comp to see us beat the brakes of these no-hopers. The airport was a very strange experience last night. I had no clue they were concerned about the “outbreak” in Melbourne and was totally unprepared for the security/clearance process they had set up, the whole internal borders thing is eye opening to say the least (the absolute loons behind me in the line complaining about “the flu, masks and temp checks” reminded me of a a Trump rally). Go Dees!

I've said before on here but the crows mate I'm heading over to watch the game with this weekend, he takes great joy in tuning into 5aa when Port looses to hear "the bloody Port Paaawwaa ferals teeing off on each other'... Gees it makes me laugh when I think of him doing that.

2018 it was just a GA ticket so I assume anyone could go stand their. Now it’s still GA but you’re listed in a pod (?), we’re in pod 2 so no idea if pods are allowed to mix or not of if our pod is segregated from The rest of the crowd lol.

It’s a blast… especially when we win! 3 of us attend in 2018 and it was so enjoyable to have them all getting stuck into you prior to and during the first qtr but very quiet most of the game as we had a ball cheering on. Can’t wait for the flight out Friday.

One thing I’ve take out of both Bartlett and Roffey’s Deeluded podcast is the statements about presidents and boards needed to be refreshed. A president should only be around for approx 5 years and then refresh…. PS Korda and the gentleman who just resigned have both been on the board since the noughts for goodness sake.
