Couldn't agree more It's widely agreed that Melbourne will (hopefully) trade to get an extra first rounmd pick. Why would you then trade one away? I would be extremely uncomfortable trading any picks under 20. I reckon there will still be very good players available at 17 and 19.

My info came from the same sort of position. I asked my friend what he would want? He said late first round draft pick! I said if someone offers that, sign very quickly.

I have it on good authority, that he didn't accompany the team on the end of season trip, and has been seen in the Gym almost Daily throughout the last month. This is the sort of commitment that I want to see from a team that finished last with 3 wins. It's been fairly well noted in the west (Not necessarily accurately) that they both want the WA boys first; we could essentially snare a player for nothing without losing our number 1 preference. Could be the even break we have been waiting for!

Heard again on the radio this morning that the rumour is growing that Melbourne is strongly considering trading it's number 1 pick to Fremantle for pick 3, in an attempt to lure Robert Warnock, under the understanding that both Fremantle and West Coast have the preference 1 - Naitanui and 2 - Rich, leaving Melbourne free to choose Watts with pick 3, hence securing Fremantle Naitanui with pick 1. The risk / reward of this trade is unprecedented I believe, and I for one think we should jump in heads first... What do we think?
