  1. Wright, Lever or Durdin Why do we need to take 2 midfielders?
  2. Does that justify using a pick 2 or 3 on him though? Pick 2 or 3 need to be Hamburgers with the lot.
  3. I'm pretty sure I have faith in our recruiters to read out the players names and registration numbers correctly - Maybe??? But seriously, the Dees recruiters have done a great job the last 2 drafts and I don't expect that to be any different this year. Just a matter of figuring out who's going to be taken at pick 1 - that's all.
  4. I don't believe much of what we are hearing in the media. From what I can tell, I'd say we know that the Saints are taking McCartin at pick 1 and that Petracca will be there for us to pick on draft day. My reason for believing this? The Saints stitching us up on the Frost trade has all the hallmarks of a bit of payback from the Saints and Giants. I'd say we were successful in spooking the Saints away from downgrading to pick 4 to get Mcartin there via a trade with GWS for pick 1. I also believe that the Saints saying they will take Petracca is just another childish attempt to get pay back. If this turns out to be the case, I'd be taking a midfielder and tall combination of either: Petracca & Wright or Petracca & Lever or Petracca & Durdin
  5. 1.Can someone explain to me why Brayshaw is so much of a lock for pick 2 or 3? 2. Why is it everyone thinks he is such a monty for us to draft him? 3. Who decided that he is automatically worthy of pick 2 or 3? 4. Does someone have knowledge that the club actually rate Brayshaw at pick 2 or 3 or is it just the media that have decided that, which the majority of supporters and maybe even the club get brainwashed into believing? Pick 2 & 3 need to be used on drafting two future superstars of the competition, not simply an 18 yr old that has done well against other 18 yr olds and would transition well to the AFL next year, but may become a bit of a plodder compared to others would could pick. So I'd like someone to convince me he is the real deal (as in superstar in the making) and that we are not simply getting suckered into false hype placed deliberately on players by opposition recruiters.
  6. It's not next door to a Bat Cave by any chance is it?
  7. You've given the game away also.
  8. You've given the game away with that comment.
  9. Two posts within 1 minute of each other referring to fishing & birds - It's got to be a sign.
  10. If what you are saying is true Ryan, then it would a horrendously bad trade for us. There has to be more too it because this trade has the potential to cripple us if Kennedy gets an injury down the track. You can't give up that much.
  11. Thanks for the offer Swans, but here's more what I have in mind: Pick 2, 3 & 23 in exchange for Kennedy, Parker/ Hannebery & Mitchell & pick 39 We hold the aces here, not the Swans - so if you don't like it you can kindly go and get stuffed
  12. Fishing + Birds = Penguin The Penguin + The Riddler = Batman Robin is a type of bird Cats come in black & white Fair chance We're getting Batman, Robin & Cat-women as a sweetener if my decoding is correct. Edit: More decoding
  13. I seem to remember strong rumours about Adelaide's interest in Watts during the 2013 season in the final year of his contract and right before Roosy signed on and convinced him to stay. So a Watts trade to Adelaide as part of a Dangerfield trade would not suprise me one bit.
  14. That actually looks a lot like Patrick Dangerfield if you look at it in a certain way.
  15. I suppose not being a mid counts against it being him also, but it's not like our forward couldn't use him based on our 2014 form. He was one of the hottest properties in the game only a year ago.
  16. That could be speculative & from GNF's perspective couldn't it? And I would have thought that Jeremy Cameron would qualify for that title at a pinch.
  17. Well Giants are fictional so they can be whatever colour you want them to be - does that work?
  18. My guess would be it's the Giants we're trading with. Based simply off the reference to it not being a little bird. Something that's not little = Giant
  19. Doubt that you would have to twist his arm too much but I could be wrong. Hard to no whether him saying that might just be a negotiating tactic? So much subterfuge going on it's ridiculous.
  20. I'd take Adelaide pick 10 in exchange for Trengove because it will effectively become pick 9 with Collingwood taking Moore So there would be a really good chance to get the tall they want at pick 9, such as Lever or any other talls that typically slip down the order a bit. On further thought, take a quality tall a pick 2 or 3 and then grab another midfielder at 9 Also, there is another tall that the Dees might be keen on at pick 9 other than Lever but I'm reluctant to say.
  21. With you on that - this would be a really bad move If in fact you are considering it don't do it Dees - the Pies are looking for a sucker with high draft picks
  22. And what level will Beam's game be at in 3 or 4 years? This year's performance is only part of the equation if you are going to give up the kind of high draft picks that have been mooted.
  23. Not sure how that works when Collingwood nocked back a deal from Brisbane of pick 5 & 20 something?
