Without sounding cynical and jaded. He really couldn’t get much worse as a forward so it’s nice to see forward movement. I feel if they’re keeping Petty (I think should trade him), they should pick a role and stop pulling him both ways. His back craft has dropped off, his forward craft is better than it was but not great. He needs time to focus on a role and stop swinging. He’s not good enough to do both, like a Picket mid or forward for example.

Replacement for Gawny, as Campbell also old. Max Ramsden from Hawks? He can’t get a game past Meek, and they also have Reeves who can’t get a game. Ramsden would be a good selection as he’s young and can be a future player.

Considering this is the same we have played for two years running, I’d say it’s a perfect reflection on Goodwin and Chaplin and co. We can’t handball easily, mark the ball on our chest, hit people on leads. The most basic things in the game we can’t do and haven’t for years.

Goody will be laughing. He will be coaching GWS on 800,000 per year. Additional free payout from us. Doesn’t have to deal with this bunch and making decisions that either way, won’t work because the players can’t execute the most basic of things.

God know we need some talent and players moved on. Fingers crossed we are very strategic and make some smart moves.
