And as JDG alights his Qantas flight direct to Las Vegas, we bid farewell to his illustrious presence on our Trade & Draft Board and look forward to a resumption of normal service from the Magpie favourite.- Phantom Drafts Thread 2022
Here’s one from a man who lives on this subject ~ ESPN's early two-round phantom draft for 2022 - every pick of the first two rounds- AFL Restricted and Unrestricted Free Agency Period
The AFL Restricted Free Agency and Unrestricted Free Agency Period starts this morning at 9.00am and closes next Friday afternoon at 5.00pm. In the case of restricted free agents clubs will have until the following Monday to match any late bids. The free agency period partly dovetails in with the trade period which begins this Monday. The main names expected to feature prominently in this year’s free trade period are Dan McStay (Brisbane to Collingwood), Karl Amon (Port Adelaide to Hawthorn), Jack Gunston (Hawthorn to Brisbane), Liam Jones (Carlton to Western Bulldogs) All four players are unrestricted free agents so their clubs are unable to match any bids for them.- Harry Sheezel
Harry Sheezel Some articles appearing about the classy forward who has enjoyed a NAB Boys League premiership with the Sandringham Dragons and a NAB Australian Championship with Vic Metro over the past fortnight. The “match-winner” draft prospect that’s “closing the gap” on teammate Ashcroft- 2022 NATIONAL DRAFT ORDER AND SELECTIONS 2022

Scouting Notes: 2022 AFL Under 17 Futures Not an altogether glowing report but he has a year to work on his game. #3 Kynan Brown (Oakleigh Chargers/Vic Metro) Having cut his teeth mostly as a midfielder for Oakleigh, Brown spent plenty of time in Team Murphy’s forward line on Saturday. The Melbourne father-son prospect could not be faulted for effort, as he sought to accelerate into scoring positions but found himself caught on the burst inside 50. Still, he backed his speed well and created scoring opportunities, albeit under pressure and largely to no avail.- AFL Trade Radio 2022
Brent Sanderson opined today that - ➡️ Luke Jackson to Fremantle for Pick 13 ➡️ Collingwood recieves Pick 13 for Brodie Grundy ➡️ Collingwood pay $300,000 of Grundy's remaining salary This values a 20/1 year old ready made ruckman originally drafted at pick #3 with a Rising Star and a Premiership behind him at a downgrade of 10 picks from top 3 to pick 13. Tell them they’re dreaming.- AFL Trade Radio 2022
Yep … former Port Adelaide player Cornsey continues to spruik the “watch this space” line on Kysaiah Pickett. ~ ”He has told Melbourne he is staying at the club. Port Adelaide are pushing hard. If not this year, for next Trade Period." The last sentence is handy cover if his original story from a few weeks ago is proven to be mere scuttlebutt.- 2022 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
