Really struggling this year.
-
The forward line is at least functioning! Wouldn't mind our midfield doing the same. Kelly and Gaff have dominated.
-
True, but I have the feeling the Crows will make life difficult for quite a few teams.
-
They are very fit and have a hard edge. Few Freo blokes have not enjoyed the heat of battle...
-
If umpires paid the first free kick they saw, they'd make life much easier for everyone!
-
Interesting. Two guys we would have liked to draft.
-
Footballers behaving badly will always be news. We the public are titilated by it. We consume it. Talk about it at work, on online forums at the pub, at the dinner table, etc. If there was no demand, there'd be no supply. Personally, I'd like to read about things that really matter to people. But maybe that's just me!
-
Let's not get too sanctimonious. We have Hunter, Spargo and Kozzie who love to play for frees.
-
Ashcroft has made a decent impression in his first few games!
-
*Jordon. No way Jordon is is relegated to sub after the way he played last week. He was superb. Outs will probably come from the sore/injured guys BBB, Hibbo and possibly Lever and they'll re-jig the midfield for Kozzie.
-
Think it will be a standard 8 or 9 goal win. In soccer vernacular West Coast will park the proverbial bus and throw numbers back. 100 point + wins are more difficult with the way football is played these days.
-
Having looked at the replay, Viney wasn't as bad as I thought on the day! Ok he scrubbed a few kicks and missed a few targets but so do all inside mids. Brayshaw was the one I was disappointed in... One contested possession for the game!
-
Kudos for the thread. I like people that are capable of self reflection. Think last Sunday was particularly bad. The comments directed at Viney, Tracc and Oliver were completely nuts! The THINK principle experts use in social media is a good one for fan site posters!: T - is it true? H - is it harmful? I - is it inspiring? N - is it necessary? K - is it kind?
-
Both solid decision makers. A little ungainly but effective. Lever especially is generally cool, calm and collected and going at 84 percent disposal efficiency which is elite.
-
Goodwin praised him in the press conference and possibly gave him coaches votes, so no chance he'll be dropped!
-
I'd save Hibbo for specific jobs against top 8 teams. If Viney's knee is still troubling him we could make a change there as well.
-
He's a bit of a human wrecking ball. Hits the contest at pace. Loved his kicking today too.
-
Howes, a lazy 33! Love this. Anyone watch the game to give a bit more context?
-
Back apparently. West Coke only have Barass as a tall so we could load up with height forward.
-
Such a smooth mover. Loved his contested mark in front of Buddy too. The injection of youth brings so much excitement.
-
Great coaching by Goodwin with the changes at selection. Jordon was sensational and should never be underestimated. The move of Petty worked well. Bringing in of the Roo was exciting. Also competed hard in the ruck. Sticking with Chandler and McVee was inspired. Changing the fwd line structure with BBB being subbed off worked. Hibberd brings solidity. Langdon was back to the Langdon we know. Some of the comments in the game day threat were ridiculous. Particularly aimed at Viney, Tracc and Oliver. Some nice intercept marks by Rivers and was a tad unlucky Papley kicked three. Lever would be leading the B&F at the moment.
-
Did pretty well! Competed hard. Helped the likes of Chandler, Fritta etc. Worth sticking with.
-
Don't agree. Influential in third but not bog.
-
6. Oliver 5. Petracca 4. Lever 3. Jordon 2. Hunter 1. Langdon
-
Grundy really lifted that quarter. Great finishing by Fritta. Langdon really needs to goal from 20 out. Loving McVee. Looks a natural.
