Both Trac and Oliver to play 200 games this year assuming nothing sinister. Just can’t help but feel sad that it had to happen this year of all years. Probably a little unlikely to win in their milestone games.

Now I’ll say upfront that stats isn’t the be all and end all of measuring a players impact on a game - in particular SuperCoach points. But it does provide some insight relevant to the this recent discussion in the thread around importance of rucks. SuperCoach player ratings have 4 of the top 11 players as rucks based on total points (same players in top 15 when considered S averages). Gawn and XErri are actually 1 & 2 based on total points. Not saying that settles the argument, but SC ratings are based on Champion Data and they know a thing or two about player impact.

I’d bank on the FS being dead in the water by then. Already on its last legs it’ll only take one more top 5 prospect getting to a top 4 club to kill it.

yep its the sort of thing you'd say once you have told the club you want to leave. It does mainly two things: 1) stops the speculation and constant distractions 2) tries to level the trade negotiations as a player wanting out is seen as a weaker hand.

The real question is, was Windsor and Jeffo for LJ fair or is there still left over animosity in stealing LJ from us for peanuts. Remember, he was pick 3 and I was livid in what we got for him, given what Freo coughed up for Bolton. Windsor is a gun but better picks should have gotten us closer to securing H.Reid.

Just read the trade wrap on Fox footy website that still says Oliver and Kosi goes and Dogga stays. FFS - Dogga has all but confirmed he’ll request a trade and “he stays” while all our boys are keeping quiet and “they go”

Kalani is a defender first before a ruckman. I think he’d be a suitable replacement for May. We all know that in 4 years time when we still have f50 connection problems, we’ll have a thread to move Kalani up forward and blame Goody when he refuses to pull the trigger.

The funny thing is they don’t actually need a Kozzy type. They already have Bolton and Dudley who are both good players. To be honest they don’t need many players, they are pretty stacked of talent. What They need is a new game plan.

LJ will allow us to extend Max for another 1-2 years though. Could we play Max as a KPD? Maybe as an intercepting defender?

Hogan was the one we missed but who knows if he we had picked him up from Freo that he would become this. We don’t know what his relationship was with players before he left some time ago. So Viney misses 2 games and Bo Allen gets the 1 week. No revised penalty … seems fair.

Funny reading some Freo posts that it’s Kozzy and our first rounder for LJ. I think not. LJ requested the trade so they have lost leverage. It would be great if Kozzy came out and said he wants to stay. Don’t know how we deal in either scenario. End of the day a direct swap is probably fair. They are both good players that go missing for many games but can impact a game every now and then.

Comment of the day. Granted they have to watch loads and all but figure out a way to practise f50 connection in a load abiding way. As for flush run or relaxing they have 30 other hours in the week to do this. When you are on the park use the time wisely.

Nope not doing a straight swap. Kozzy is on peanuts compared to LJ. If we are to take on his salary until 2029 then it has to come with this years first round pick. Kozzy is really starting to show what he is capable of. He has another 2-3 years before he hits prime Kozzy. LJ hasnt really improved to the levels we all expected.
