  1. So Campbell can clearly play. Do we go with 2 rucks?
  2. Nm 40 Dees 42
  3. Hello Jared Rivers.
  4. Three things certain in life, death, taxes and DLers complaining about match day threads..
  5. How’s that not holding the ball. [censored]
  6. These [censored] umpires. Seriously it’s a praccy game and we are getting murdered.
  7. I do think Campbell is a good 2nd ruck option. Kozzy solid. Langford promising. Bowey servicable. That about where the positives stop.
  8. I know it’s only a practice match but we look terrible. No cohesion.
  9. He does have a solid golf swing. Better than Stephen May's that's for sure.

Waverly Park as a potential development of home base? WTF! When did that become a thing?
  11. Its awfully early to put a line through us. I don't think we are anywhere near being favourites but to rule us out all together is a massive statement.
  12. Its the time of the year where all the obnoxious predictions are put to the airwaves. Many have us bouncing back into the top 8 but one i tend to keep my eye is coaches under the pressure valve. Goody along with Voss and Longmuire and Nicks are the consistent theme here. I do think Goody is undeserving of the attention for just one bad season, but the style and manner in which we imploded as a club, its easy to understand why. His deal ends at 2026. At what point do you start to think his job comes under the spotlight? Our first 6 rounds are: GWS @G; Norf @ Marvel; Sun @G; Cats @KP; Bombers @ Adelaide; Freo @G. I cant see us running the table, but i can see anything from 5-1 to 2-4 ledger after the first 6. I think pressure mounts at anything worse than 3-3. Our next 6 is easier with a 5-1 to 3-3 range. Which brings us to a 10-2 : 5-7 mid-season tally. Things would have be get diabolical to be worse than 5-7, but i think, equally, a lot would have to go right to get near a 10-2 position after the first 12 rounds. Goody would want a positive win/loss after 12 to have any chance of finals. Its really hard to have any certainty on this given the evenness of the competition we face in the first 12 rounds and just how bad our last 12-18 months has been. I do hop we have settled and turned the corner and are back competing, but there is a slither of MFCSS I have that we may not respond to last years cluster as we all hope.
  13. Also lack of live reporting.. i mean its 2025, why don't we have multiple live video phone feeds from people who are located at key vantage points around the ground?
  14. I have been refreshing DL every 10 mins for the past 6 hours for the training report. How many more refreshes do you think before the update will be posted?
  15. Couldn’t be stuffed with a new thread on the other pre season games but what I saw from the Geelong Hawks game tells me that Cats will contend again. Hawks look disinterested so hard to gauge.

That would be awesome but the club that has the 3-4 AAs would be stressing big time. Could you imagine this when we had Gawn, Trac, Oliver, Lever and May in the AA in 2021.
  17. That’s not a good injury to get at a young age.
  18. C sharp in a Dee Minor premiership? Had to be done.
  19. I wonder why he or the AFL media don’t want to focus on the rumours surrounding Bobby Hill wanting to return to WA as well. Why is he off limits? Same old media, talking nonsense.
  20. That is the only trade I’d consider. Kozzy for Reid and maybe some change to the Eagles to cater for the age gap. I’ll bet we’ll start to hear murmurings of Reid wanting to return home this year. If that’s the case I’d be on the front foot to make this happen. If Kozzy wants to be in WA then the club shouldn’t matter. Can’t have your cake …
  21. It’s funny how little attention this gets and how a Hawthorn, Collingwood, Sydney forward line is made to look much better than it actually is. Doggies are stacked for forward line talent. Naughton, JUH, Darcy and yet have ball movement issues and inconsistency in performance. Will be interested to see how the Lions go without Daniher as well. Our forward line is not the best in the comp but it’s not the worst either I’d say if we were to just fix f50 delivery we’ll see a marked uplift in forward line KPIs as a result.
  22. Media speculating around JUH future at the dogs post the 2025 season. Would you go after this bloke if we were able to agree trade value. We seem to have a reasonable trade negotiations with the Doggies. Or is he destined to leave the footy capitol.
  23. Any idea when he’ll resume training? That single birkenstock sandal is not inspiring any confidence.

Yeah I’m not 💯 sure but I could swear there was a lunging bump in the 3 quarter. It is a bit reckless. Otherwise I thought Kozzy played ok in his hybrid MF/forward role.

You know what we have? A 3 year contract that trumps them all.
