The GCS Pick 4 Thread
Also apparently it was Tom Morris who said this, not Riley. Also, one again, the following quote wasn' mine but from DL: The AFL also gave North the right to an additional two rookies on the list - a measure aimed at allowing the club to keep younger players while bringing in more mature talent. Sources familiar with the AFLâs draft assistance package for the Kangaroos said the future picks had to be used in trades this year or they would cease to exist. North Melbourne have not had the problem of key players leaving the club.

The GCS Pick 4 Thread
It wasn't me posting this, but was DL: Riley Beveridge reporting on SEN Crunch Time that the AFL are going to recommend an assistance package to North Melbourne of: - End of first round pick in 2023 - End of first round pick in 2024 - End of second round pick in 2024 - No priority access to Riley Sanders ** Pick 3 compensation for McKay is a separate issue. Will âlikely happenâ but wonât have anything to do with assistance package.

Trade Rumours 2023
Initially I thought they were going to get 3, 11 and Sanders. Then I thought they were going to get 3 and 11. So I think this is a pretty good result for us, all things equal. We can draft Sanders if we want (if he's not gone already), and that pick 11 won't come before our natural first rounder.

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
I missed this, in an article by Cal Twomey, 4 days ago: " Sanders, who has an Indigenous background, is yet to be added to the AFL's Next Generation Academy list. Under NGA rules, clubs can't match bids on prospects inside the first 40 picks of the draft, but there has been a view that the Roos could be given access to match a bid at any point for Sanders as part of their assistance package. However, with just over a week to go before the AFL Commission meets, there is a growing feel among rivals that Sanders, a certain top-10 pick, will more likely be in the open pool. " Hopefully this happens, as it would be good news for us, as he may end up being the one we draft with our first pick.

Farewell James Jordon
Can understand that he's leaving for more game time. Can't hold that against him

Does the Roos getting pick 11 mean they donât get additional access to Ryley Sanders?

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Not looking great, with North probably getting 2 early picks before us, and getting access to Sanders (letâs hope not). Also Suns pick before us up for grabs. Can only hope we get it!

Is it realistic that we get 11 from Sydney?

The 2023 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
The SEN show this was on, is all about encouraging people with their wild, made up rumours. The Lynch one was never treated as legitimate, as much as I would have liked it to be.

Harley Reid
Cal had him at 6 in his latest draft

Harley Reid
You would think North would threaten to take Curtin at 2/3, so our Pick 5/6 would be pretty useless to West Coast

Which hated player would you love to love at the Dees?
Toby Greene is the first name that comes to mind. Would be a massive name if he played in Vic.

2023 Injury List
Such a pity about Petty. Hopefully TMac/BBB can save the day. I can't see Grundy working, but maybe we will give it another try. Would love to be proven wrong in regards to Grundy though.
