  1. Good thing Harmes is getting replaced by a certain someone for this next game
  2. Melksham - Held all game or Robbed of frees
  3. I wouldn't doubt it he looks a tad too happy to be saying stuff like that, hopefully 1-2 weeks
  4. IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE IN: The Clayton Michael Oliver, Grundy OUT: Petty :(, Harmes (Thanks for the service to this club and you've lived our dream of playing for your childhood club but I think its time to go)
  5. Win is a win, we don't need to gain massive percentage IMO, I think it comes down to either us or Brisbane winning out for 2nd, Brisbane have a harder run on paper but who knows.
  6. At some point in the 3rd I think it looked zoomed in on the bench and looked as though petty said "its F**cked" in response to someone asking how it was... :(
  7. Petty, Melk and JvR to combine for at least 10 and I will be very happy, add a Max outside 50 bomb and I shall be ecstatic .
  8. If he was against the Toiges then even more reason to let him go
  9. They will always be hard to get but if I'm a top quality KPD Melbourne looks way more appealing
  10. Agree, this was his chance to show his worth and he just doesn't provide something we can't get from someone else that has more upside.
  11. Yea realistically only Selwyn and his crew will have a good idea about whether he just needs the minutes in game or a rest to make sure he's good to go, I trust the FD to manage him correctly.
  12. Even though his body is cooked he can teach Jefferson and JvR so much and is realistically the only FWD we have that reached that level, if he is a decent leader would love him to continue to mentor the young KPFs
  13. Not based on Grundy form rather he has played well when playing #1 ruck and it is a chance to rest Max before finals, obviously I'm not a fitness expert and the high fitness coaches know what they are doing but Gawn is vital to a premiership push and playing him against Norf and him taking a beating again isn't necessary espaiclly with Grundy as an option.
  14. IN: Grundy, Sparrow(If fit), Dunstan Out: Max, Viney (If Sparrow fit), Harmes Under no circumstances do I want Clayton playing in a game he isn't required to, an extra week to make sure he is right. Viney deserves a rest and has been HUGE the past couple of weeks but it could be risky to rest him in this game unless we push Trac back into majority mid. Harmes just looks a 2nd rate out on the field IMO and Sparrow is straight back in for him if fit and if that happen Is think you can make the Dunstan switch for viney. Tomlinson to stay I just don't really think Smith is able to do what he does for 4 quarters and I think the FD knows this and he will be used as a sub no matter what he does, just like a 6th man in the NBA.
  15. Going into next week against Norf we would have to rest a couple of players right? First thought is to give Viney a rest (Sparrow injury hinders this a bit) as well as Max. How good is King Max, dominant after a poor 1st half, If the forward line continues to play near this level in the next couple of weeks does Fritcsh's walk up start go away? Melk is putting together a nice block of form and he isn't a perfect swap for the bigger Petty/JvR? After today despite the great win it was apparent that our midfield is very one paced, Richmond exposed us with their speed as they broke from contest, obviously Clayton helps with this but was it as obvious at the ground as it was on TV?
  16. I think Smith has to stay as sub, he's too versatile and provides an explosive ejection. Not to mention has proven to provide immediate impact. I also think his athleticism could help if Dusty gets going.
  17. https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_player_compare?playerStatus1=A&tid1=11&playerStatus2=A&tid2=12&type=A&pid1=6513&pid2=6628&fid1=S&fid2=S Nope, not a perfect comparison due to play time but Sparrow is a better user of the ball than Worpel and if he played the same time in the midfield as he does I reckon Sparrow would have the same disposal numbers.
  18. This and the development of Jack Payne into a very solid defender allowing Harris Andrews more freedom, Ashcroft is just part of this. With him being done for the year I don't think the Lions odds of winning have changed much.
  19. I think this happens when Clayton comes back in, against North or in the final couple of games when we are cemented in top 4, but he deserves one, he's been getting smashed for the last 8 weeks more than usual.
  20. Not to mention the defensive work he has started to implement into his game, he was getting quite a few intercepts in the corridor pushing back.
  21. Hear me out, sign him and play him for 100 games, an investment into his kids.
