  1. I was thinking the same but I don't think that would happen, plenty of other clubs probably would pay 800-900K of his salary but I feel like Choco could fix him
  2. Best lawyers in the comp for sure
  3. I really want 1 more big Bud game before the end of the year. (as long as it isn't against us) to celebrate the big man.
  4. Unless they can figure out the forward line they are screwed,
  5. I don't think we get it done with three picks, especially with Freo remembering how to play, I get what your saying but also if we have a compromised draft coming up getting a couple guys hitting their peak at that point could do wonders. I also trust the scouting we have done but yeah a petracca is better than a sparrow
  6. Ankles are tough and you won't really know till scans, also don't think the blues will risk him if he's below 90%, nvm he's up and running can't be too bad
  7. True but also not having a bench is really starting to show imo, they just look a step or two slower than Sydney at the moment.
  8. No Cripps and potential suspensions could be huge for next week
  9. I couldn't understand the booing for Oskar, he wasn't getting any time for us and we didn't need or want him. I hope he played well this season (Not against us) seems like a good guy.
  10. We are at the point where I don't really think that 1 X-Factor player is going to make the difference. We have those players (Trac, Clarry etc.) but what I think we need is to gear up to replace some older guys and strengthen the 10-21 ranked guys. We have some older Key position players like May who in a couple of years will be gone. If we can take a Geelong approach and just have very solid players at most every position we will challenge for years, obviously if a Jeremy Cameron type came up I'd rather sell the farm for that.
  11. Not exactly inspirational changes however we need to have some continuity in the forward line, can't expect TMac or BBB to provide on the first game back especially as they are on the wrong side of 30 w/ injuries.
  12. Not going to the game but if I was I'm not booing, as you said helped us break the drought and also no need to give them anything as to fuel the fire. Also hope the boys don't fall into the trap like the dockers did when they played Lobb.
  13. People need to realize that teams actually lose a handful of games a season, Port isn't a bad team, have one 6-7 on the run and we played in the wet away. Obviously not an amazing game from a dees perspective but its not as though we are back to the horror years.
  14. Yeah, seems as Rivers matures and gets more experienced he is playing a bit more in the guts and hitting a couple CBs
  15. I don't know if Dunstan would be the direct in if he had been healthy, let alone coming off his own injury. I think we will see sparrow in with more midfield rotation from Gus, Rivers, Koz
  16. Realistically though, what is stopping our boys from diving headfirst at the ball, taking a knee to the head, getting the free and getting a player out for the week. Looking at our boys Vines could take 20 knees before a concussion, Sparrow around 10 I reckon just don't let Gus get involved.
  17. That's silly, he should have never been in that situation, if he had just played like our mids did for most of the night (almost non existent) then Rozee would have been fine :/
  18. Wouldn't mind another appeal depending on the reasoning for why he got the suspension up held, I feel like most people are in agreement that he was in the right which is a good guide to how successful it maybe.
  19. I feel like we put up a really good argument here, better than the JvR one so I (a super qualified AFL law interpreter) expect us not to get off
  20. The fact he didn't even have to go and have a concussion test either
  21. I donโ€™t thing the premise is a bad idea and it works Iarge leagues like the NBA but we are only 18 teams at the moment and the bottom teams are pretty bad. Maybe only the bottom 3-5 teams are included in the lottery
  22. He has also proven that he can play a defensive role on Alir even though he is playing less of that intercepting defender and has started to play 1 on 1 better.
  23. I'd like to see Joel come in, has some good form and if BBB/TMac aren't 100% (I don't think they are) they aren't going to be useful if there is anything other than good conditions.
  24. Goodwin/Mitchell 5/5 Petracca 3/4 Viney 4/2 Rivers 0/3 Sicily 2/0 Oliver 1/0 May 0/1 Newcombe
  25. Awful timing, not only was he just starting to look settled in, but would have been huge in trying to play defensibly against Alir this week
