Why did we sign Schache to another year given even in these dire tall forward times he does not seem to be considered for selection?

I was thinking the same thing and wondering why we extended his contract a while ago for another year.

Yet again - All year the AFL have said if you choose a certain course of action such as leaving the ground and the head of an opponent is hit then you wear the consequences because you chose the course of action. It’s that simple, everything else is distraction. End of story.

Yes I know the narrative about Schache but we signed him for another year and TMac, really, are we confident he will win a one on one battle. At least Schache is a tall forward so could be novel to have one of those in our forward line given JvR is out.
