I was very impressed how he competed for the most part of the game against 203 cm Darcy Moore. He made himself look taller and stronger, like a 2nd tall not just our superstar medium tall. 👌🏻

I feel the same, I can't see anything he can give to our list that we don't already have. As you said, wings are covered. Our half back line looks very premium with Bowey, McVee, Salem and Rivers. What we actually need is a player in the mid-field with elite foot skills. Gus unfortunately is not an elite kick.

Funny you mention the international broadcasters; My first ever contact/exposure to AFL footy (although I didn't know it at the time) was back in 2013 before I even migrated to Oz land. Some random satellite dish channel was broadcasting AFL games on Sat afternoons in my home country of Mexico. I wonder how much they were paying for those broadcasting rights... 🤔

I am in North America, yeah I just feel I am giving my money twice to Kayo, just for one game! Absolutely pathetic to be honest. I am always concerned the VPNs won't work. Anyways I guess I will have to ponder the next couple of days if I am willing to give the 24 bucks to Kayo/7 Network/AFL

Fellow D'landers. I am currently overseas and was planning to watch the game via watchAFL.com.au. However it is a daylight robbery, 24 dollars for one week! (it's basically what I am paying for my monthly Kayo sub). Isn't there anyway to pay "on demand" (i.e. just for the one game)? TIA.

You seem pretty bullish on Freo. I still think they can miss finals, and for our draft pick sake I hope they do.

So we find ourselves mid-way through the season (how time flies!). To me this season has been particularly hard to identify the real contenders from the pretenders. What does DL think? Are Collingwood, PA and Brisbane the only solid candidates so far? Are we closer to the contenders or the pretenders based on current form? Looking forward to KB game, I can't help but feel we are a chance.

Probably without Lynch Freo may be favourites then. But of course I do hope they can beat them dockers.
