Well you could say the same about excessive hand balling in traffic. At least if you kick to goal more, worst case scenario it goes out in the full and opposition has to move the ball from their goal square. Similarly if it is a behind, and you can still maintain pressure and set behind the ball in those instances.

The AFL will overhype their product anytime. I don't think the gather round was a certified success, not saying it was a failure, but we need to see how it evolves in the next couple of years. I do not like the idea of hosting the round in SA for 3 more years, I'd prefer for it to be rotated including TAS.

For me, what makes it more baffling is that they are now a champion team. I believe the pride of a champion team should/can be enough to go out there and perform to a consistent level.
