  1. Luke Beveridge trying to come up with a game plan to beat Melbourne tonight:
  2. Supposed to be 26 degrees. So yes! The biggest variable is whether we're going to win or not. We are, so you'll be clapping heaps, which will warm you up. Long sleeves, with a blankie just in case is my go-to. I have a practical jacket too, which I wear everywhere more for the pockets than the warmth. So if you've got one of them then it'll probably do the job if the dogs get on top.
  3. I could see that, and he'd be very versatile - he's played basically everywhere, though I wouldn't want him rucking with a mending knee.
  4. Tomlinson looked very slow and not agile to me in the Carlton game, and he was one of the few where that wasn't an effort issue - his body is just not there (yet), despite his claims he's never been fitter. Smith is much more of a sure-thing at this stage, and I am no Smith fan.
  5. Ever since grand final night I've wanted to see Tommy's reaction on the siren, and after he knows the goal is goingthrough. For obvious reasons, we've never seen it (there may have been bigger things going on). We got both in that clip, and I was so rapt for him.
  6. This interviewer grows on you. He asks good questions, and the players seem to really open up to him. Nice work!
  7. One of his co-commentators called Vescio a they and a she in the same sentence. I have an idea what that says about the whole situation, but I can't say it because I'll get cancelled.
  8. If Carlton win tonight, it's 4 in a row for them. They're one of the form teams in the comp, and I'm glad the girls were able to get the win, even if it wasn't the big win we all hoped for to give us the best chance.
  9. Bannan BOG by the straight.
  10. I'm ready for that next stage of the journey, where (hopefully) the legend grows and teams begin to fear us visibly when we're playing them.
  11. Glad someone rates Salem. No Gawn is trash of course.
  12. I can't even decipher what the 4th one even means.
  13. It's mostly an intensity thing IMO. Just look at the livewire way he was moving during bang bang bang and compare that to his movement in the practice games. Chalk and cheese. I'm not worried. Jacko will be a big game player I think, and these were the complete opposite of that.
  14. As good as this doco is, the following link is a million times better. Watch it. If you don't, you're going to regret it: https://www.afl.com.au/ondemand/stories/491019/season-final-story?episode=9&fbclid=IwAR1-44biAI8uOmjGELIxDvt48RQjerk_EgydgILoiKcGWkXKKNeb6vfGozg#season-1.handled
  15. Greene's action was legal at the time. The rule has since been changed, and both actions are now illegal, but I think worthy only of free kicks.
  16. Interesting from Tom Brown (in full-on bootlicker mode, which is not flattering) not to mention amongst the benefits ($$$) of an additional round the fact it would bring the game closer to an equal fixture. Shows where the priorities are, as if we didn't know.
  17. I heard Nathan provide special comments in AFLW vs North a few weeks back. I thought he was quite good, so I'll be interested to hear him comment on the mens game, especially with Melbourne not involved, as he did frame a lot in terms of the WDees in my one time hearing him.
  18. I learned that Trac is aware of the unearthly expression of steely resolve that was etched across his brow was after kicking that goal. Never seen a bloke more determined in my life.
  19. I guess Nathan Jones is biased too because he said it was "only" the most dominant minute we played that year.
  20. They already have that on Bluray!
  21. Very smartly have annual leave booked for the Thursday. No need to get home early.
  22. Well that was an hour and a half very well spent. Also, how alike do Todd and Jack look?
  23. Yes please tell me more about the dark days...
  24. The Lions. We match up well on them, but I think their midfield will go to another level this year and be very hard to stop.
