Gonna be some rough weather today by the look. Unfortunately I’m expecting a pretty poor crowd as a result. I’m gonna suffer through it though to be a part of history and see the girls scrub a mighty win in the wet.

Amazing tackle on Stringer by Sparrow there. People say he's the only one who can stop Trac at training. You'd need to be to stop Stringer on the burst out of a stoppage.

Harmes has been great this quarter.

One of the bad habits I've seen us get into this year (practice matches and the 3 home and away matches) is what I'm calling "4th quarter GF mode" where we start lairising and not treating our opponents with respect in the contest. Petracca has no right to think he can bullock out of every single contest, for example. Add to that Kozzie and Spargo are giving us absolutely nothing, as are a few others, and no wonder we played a terrible quarter. Our structures and our rock solid backline (lead by May, who got mad at Tomlinson for punching the ball out rather than marking it, to give you an idea of the spot-on headspace he is in) is still top notch, but our individuals are making stupid decisions borne out of ego or plain poor form I reckon.

Our level this quarter has dropped about 5 notches. We always seem to play a terrible quarter in home and away games. Sparrow goes BANG!

I love ya Trac but it's no crime to just get rid of it quickly sometimes.

Missed a heap of opportunities, but we're clearly the better side and a whalloping is on the cards if we can clean up our finishing.

McDonald getting outmarked in every contest is very annoying.

We're getting outmarked in our forwardline which is frustrating. This is why Ben Brown is so good - you can't outmark him.

The way Jackson moves is just sex on legs.

Jackson just takes the pizz. Beats like 5 players in the air and is the first player to grab the crumb when there are smalls in the vicinity too. Amazing.

If McDonald plays a bad game tonight and Wiedeman plays a good one, then selection next week gets very interesting.
