Hopefully we get to see how Brisbane holds up in the last quarter with a slim lead and Collingwood coming at them like a freight train. Very wobbly in that situation.

A lot of excuse-making for our opponents here. No game is going to go 100% to plan. The wins are what they are, and you can rate them or look at reasons why they wouldn't have happened. Carlton fans might easily do the same had a certain goal line decision gone the other way last night.

Weird idea. What if we push Brayshaw forward? He's a good overhead mark for his size and it would free up space in the midfield for Clarry and Petracca plus the 4-5 others that can do the job. We go smaller and make oppositions play unusual matchups and be one midfielder down against us?

I agree. McDonald is definitely not working like he used to back in the day. Yes injuries are a part of it but he and Harmes have gone downhill a lot because of their workrate dropping like a stone.

McDonald going pretty well as the game goes on. Tomlinson too. I wouldn't be upset with Spargo, Tomlinson and McDonald into our best 22 come finals time. I think McDonald needs the time in the VFL but could very well be the answer for us for the 4 weeks of September.

McDonald tries a don't argue but isn't quite strong enough. I'd love to see him get out on a lead or in a marking contest. Unfortunately Casey's delivery is too poor for such luxuries.

McDonald is able to ruck and is clearly a better forward than Grundy. Get him in.

Tomlinson is playing pretty well imo, and a bit more aggressively than usual, taking the game on. Interesting. Casey is being dominated though in the midfield so we're unable to see Tommy McDonald much.

Tommy's moving ok, but not being kicked to effectively as usual.
