Call it my last vestige of MFCSS. I think some of the bigger clubs and those who had won one recently, with COVID, didn't care quite as much. It wasn't at the MCG. Do you think the Dees are the real deal or not? If yes, then you want Geelong to win. If not, then you want Brisbane to win.

Geelong is defending really well and the Lions aren't necessarily taking their opportunities, but you'd think the dam wall will burst with the amount of supply the Brisbane forwards are getting.

Gained way too much weight. I really hope for football's sake that Luke Jackson doesn't do the same. NicNat and Jackson and their like need to be lithe swift ruckman, not overweight lumps.

I didn't watch the whole thing but the one thing he did that I think is realistic for his skillset and physical attributes was where he crashed a pack and roved the crumb, dished it off to a more skilled distributor who laced out a real forward. I think that's the best we can hope to get from Grundy in the forward line at the moment.
