Tomlinson is playing pretty well imo, and a bit more aggressively than usual, taking the game on. Interesting. Casey is being dominated though in the midfield so we're unable to see Tommy McDonald much.

I hate to give up on Grundy and I worry about JVR's ability to back up Max in a final, but assuming I'm wrong about both of those I think we ship off Grundy to Port, never to be seen again and we bring in whoever is our best genuine forward, because Grundy gives us very little in the ruck and absolutely nothing forward. JVR to ruck as he's actually quite good at that.

The human asked to adjudicate it in the moment said it was a behind, and that's the end of it for me.

You will never do away with human error. Given that, adding technology to the mix is just asking for trouble. Get rid of the ARC. What good has it done for footy? None.

Worried about Australia right now. I think with Sam Kerr coming on France has a sneaky chance to slip in under the overly-attacking mindset brought on by the crowd and the sub.

Aussies doing all the attacking but it doesn't look to me like either side will be able to overcome the opposition defence. The best chance of the game was to the Aussies late in the first half but blocked by the French Jake Lever (damn you rick).
