  1. The best 19yo talent I've ever seen at Melbourne, and the perfect player for right now because he complements Gawn so well. This bloke will be anything…as soon as he starts taking marks.
  2. Available for selection does not mean good enough for selection. I loved Ben Brown when he was flying for North Melbourne, but now that he's on our list and we're flying I have my doubts about his movement and place within the side...
  3. No way I'd draft Petracca before Gawn if I had to make such a cruel decision. Lucky for me I don't.
  4. If you're unsure, then you don't trust them. That's OK. I get it.
  5. Yes let's do. I reckon he's leading our B+F (captain excluded because he's the best player in the comp).
  6. Agreed. When a player redeems early mistakes within the same game as ANB did today, you don't drop them.
  7. I think the conservative thing to do is: Wiedeman in, M. Brown out. The high-risk, high-reward thing is: Wiedeman in, M Brown out Ben Brown in, McDonald to wing, Melksham/Spargo out.
  8. OUT: Petty, M. Brown, Melksham IN: Jetta, Wiedeman, B. Brown McDonald to wing, with a defensive mindset if the Tigers get on top, but an attacking mindset if we're controlling the ball.
  9. 6. Gawn 5. Langdon 4. McDonald 3. Lever 2. Hibberd 1. Petracca
  10. Pretty simple. Do you?
  11. Oliver's not a team player.
  12. The Melbourne players in the final quarter against the Hawks players:
  13. Leaver leaving his man to take that mark in the middle of the ground was so smart. His man was out of the play, so he left him and took the mark. Langdon you star! Who said you couldn't kick.
  14. After an awful 1st quarter, ANB holds his spot this week you'd think.
  15. Welp, if Brown kicks 4 in the last quarter we might have to fit him in next week too.
  16. BIG MAXXY GOES BOOM!!!!!
  17. Lever, amazing to win that 2 on one marking contest in defence.
  18. Burgoyne had the ball, went to ground, put the ball on the ground, then slapped it away, all with no one tackling him. Isn't that incorrect disposal?
  19. McDonald's argument is he didn't know it was a free, so how can he take advantage.
  20. McDonald is cracking in and playing great. Fighting very hard to retain his spot as my avatar, in spite of Langdon's brilliance.
  21. Didn't Jackson take the mark as well as the free? Pay the mark, and let Jackson go back and kick it. Academic, but we get there in the end.
  22. No way McDonald goes out of the side on this week's performance, even if both those guys come in.
  23. Ed Langdon is just a gem. Carrying us so well today when a lot of others aren't quite wanting to work hard enough. He'll never stop working. Might need to change my avatar soon.
  24. Brown looks like he's stepped out of one of those early 2010's sides. Just nowhere near it.
  25. Keeps his spot no doubt next week. In Jetta, Out Petty.
