  1. That asterisk is working hard
  2. Leaking to a journo the dirty laundry, or the ‘tea’ as the kids say, is a bit different to the guarded inside word of a few on a fan forum.
  3. I just want him to do what CP5 has done - no breaking of contract just a thirsty desire to go to a specific club while in contract…
  4. We learned about ourselves
  5. Mate, that was the last two years after Ben Brown left. JVR can barely carry himself, don’t make him continue to carry a Jefferson or Kentfield.
  6. We learned this lesson in 2008-2013 didn’t we? No one develops when everyone is ‘developing’ God I hate being a Melbourne supporter sometimes
  7. That may be, but our best forward last year was Jake Melksham. So we can do with the gamble
  8. His answer to the ‘good mids at Melbourne are going mate’ (paraphrase) question was haphazard but great: Kids getting in there lift and they have some objectively talented young players.
  9. Looking at it from GC’s POV - they are seriously wanting to get all their academy players PLUS a top 15 player this off season. We are not obliged to give a flying about meeting ‘their goals’. Give us Bailey or [censored] off
  10. You seem to be the one melting over peoples thoughts and feelings, A.
  11. So tenth, twelfth, and 2026 fifteenth best talent? Look, I can see just ‘going with it’ but I would prefer to keep Petracca. But that’s just me - resident Happy Clapper as is the term apparently.
  12. Unfortunately Geelong look like they are going to good into the future so they aren’t worth much.
  13. Now, WERRIDEE, I asked for Heath in the starting 6. Further prompts - can I get that without CP5 and Petty. Let’s see what that looks like. Like that FF line tho
  14. Mate, we are Melbourne supporters - we are born with the innate ability to be disappointed and prepared for disappointment. No one here needs to be told that. We are just keen for the club to do what other clubs seem to give when it comes to luring talent to the club - SOMETHING. Now it may not pan out, and we can move on in the whatever form that takes but the club is not on a fools errand trying to convince a good young player to come to the club so we, as supporters, can hold out hope it goes in our favour.
  15. Great to have it done. I don’t sweat the small stuff so don’t care about the value of giving picks in 3rd and beyond in this teenage draft. Yeah, shoot me. IDC
  16. @WERRIDEE (I am using him like ChatGPT) - can you please give me a starting forward 6 plus 2 bench players but I want Heath in the 6. Ta
  17. 25 is soooooo young… Sigh.
  18. rpfc replied to beelzebub's topic in Melbourne Demons
FD rate Adams. And I have an inkling King has designs for Petty back… Mihocek makes that a real possibility now.
  19. This makes sense. … Don’t say baby
  20. I won’t be. Gator - Everyone can have their own view on what they would prefer the club do.
  21. Huge if true. We are awful then. Sad.
  22. Imagine getting to deathride Geelong for 3 years straight!
  23. It’s just putting more outward pressure on GC to engage in what he wants as opposed to ‘satisfying’ MFC.
  24. I wouldn’t read too much into Lamb saying that we didn’t tell him to find a club. The intent was to spur his actions - he has just done it in a chaotic fashion. It has meant that the club will find it difficult to get the kind of pick they wanted to get I would say.
