  1. Agree on Heath. Can't believe some on here thought he had a bad game. Dogs mids were just too good, but I noted Moose's follow up work from a throw up, below the knees and hands, and his ability to go contest to contest. Was relentlessly mauled around the back of the neck by his centre bounce opponent. Lot to work with there and I would be happy to see him in the ones to relieve a bit of pressure on the other Max, and allow us to park a ruckman in the fwd line - surprised King didn't put Ganwy down there while we were bombing it in.
  2. Would it be fair to deduce that with Heath and Laurie both named for Casey, and TMac not, that he is the only named emergency travelling to Perth with the AFL squad?
  3. 6 Kozzie 5 Steele 4 Howes 3 Moose 2 Lever 1 Kolt
  4. Great report RedLegs - many thanks...
  5. Agree with many here - his physicality is impressive, can clunk a mark, and, I thought, accounted for himself well in secondary ruck duties. He also has the ability to win and quickly feed out the ball out ground level. Not sure where he fits, but hope he earns a chance to show what he has at AFL senior level.
  6. Wonder if Ned Guy is any relation to Gary Guy, who played 20 odd games for the Dees in the mid 70s? Or Eric Guy - St Kilda champion of the late 50s, early 60s?
  7. Don't see why it makes no sense DIAK - I prefer to think they are not leaking about candidates, tight ship and all that.
  8. Made my day!!! Could be a bit of McGovern type as he matures?
  9. Thanks to those who noted AJ in their posts.
  10. Would appreciate any observations about how AJ is performing - rarely mentioned so far, but I see he ran well in the Shuttle. Understandably not a point of conversation here given the pecking order, but curious how he is going amongst the new forward (?) bunch.
  11. Spot on DIAK - well said. Mick has being doing the grind from the Surf Coast for 10 years - he deserves a gig closer to home and family. Owes us nothing...our program owes him a great deal.
  12. With Zanker out of contract, it seems to me the Club would not have had a lot of leverage - I think they did well to get what they did.
  13. Echoing the thanks of others for the reports and observations - thanks all.
  14. How smart is this move? Like how we are moving forward.
  15. Great report WDW - thank you!
  16. Thrilled to hear this one - and to think we nearly lost her last year. With what is shaping up as the likely exit of Zanker, Tayla becomes even more important.
  17. Thanks for the get our Rjay. Don't seem to be able to edit my post either...
  18. Ha ha go me there! Must stop typing without my glasses!
  19. Gee - can't believe the nitpickers and pendants on here taking pot shots at our media people, and even our ex media people. Really? Nothing better to do in the off season??
  20. Gillard McNamara Chapman Paxman Taylor Hore
  21. Seems more and more to like about this kid. Gotta love the country boys. Great interview - really positive. You can almost feel the energy he has - a real energiser bunny! Shaping as a locker room and crowd favourite. Stats file says 171 cm which is very small - but on a postive note, same as Kossie? Might still grow a little?
  22. His vision shows that he thinks the game quickly, good hands, nice kick, plus leap. Could be a slow burn but has potential to be a unicorn type?
  23. Doesn't Mick live on the Surf Coast? If so, could be forgiven for a gig closer to home. Agree with others Denby was stiff - thought she was very good, composed last week. Thought for sure Ebert would be the one making way for Maeve - but as others have said, Denby a possible late inclusion. Get the sense there is a little bit of hope in naming Maeve. I think with Banno you get a bit more speed and versatility than Gall, plus running Campbell and Pearce, with backup from Harris, we might have the talls sorted? Tough call for the ones that miss out though...
  24. Thought that too No.31. Cruises around the contests, makes good position - doesn't look super quick but has leg power?
  25. Can anyone post the SEN interview? I can't seem to find it.
