MATCH PREVIEW & TEAM SELECTION - ROUND 1, 2016
picket fence replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
As I have said earlier and even in the cold hard light of day as opposd to the grog induced nights, In which universe and on what planet does Oscar Mc Donald get a game over Lynden Dunn?? -
Nothing wrong with him, named as emergency so should be right. I would rather have an underdone Lyden Dunn than Oscar Mc Donald anyday. Oscar Mc donald was poor in the NAB games, caught out of position, outmarked and limited awareness. I really worry about his selection on Saturday Very worried!

BUT he's been named emergency! You aint gonna name him as emergency if he aint right therefore he must be right! My advice Lynden.... You are a much better player than Frawley Much Much Better so mate Check free agency ! If I were him I would be livid! I'm sure many clubs out there ( Freo) would love your services! Oscar Mc Donald FMD This will come back to haunt us! -

In what universe and on what planet does Oscar Mc Donald get a game in front of Lynden Dunn??? Answer?? NONE! I'll Say it! THIS IS THE WORST SELECTION DECISION OF ALL TIME FMD!!!! I'm livid, this is potentially a game changing decision If Dunn is right then he plays, Absolutely no question! Huge Huge gamble and massive fail in my book! Oscar Mc Donald FMD! -

Agree Clarry Choo Choo my Rising Star! Re Ariel I have a Signed Vinyl and CD versions of the same by Mike Rudd and the late Bill Putt. I also have the criminally underarted Album "Rock and Roll Scars" again both signed. Tim Gaze?? an underated Australian talent, excellent guitar player and great voice! Now back to Clarry Choo Choo I would love to see him through $cully in no uncertain terms and play a dominant role in our first big win of the season!! -

Sheeit I was having an "ARIEL" "A STRANGE FANTASTIC DREAM" ( some might remember this ground-breaking album from one of Australia's finest bands!??) -

Petracca Petraccca Petracca!! The hype is enormous!! The bloke hasn't even played a practice game and people are lauding him as the next greatest player behind Jahesus H Christmas! Time to chill ! Hasn't played even a praccy!! Ok for Mine I'll take Clarry Choo Choo to be the next Biggest thing at Dees! Petracca needs to really prove himself based on Hype and Expectation! -
Yeah well, life has been hard, so a little "Literary" leeway and touch of alacrity doesn't go astray! GO DEES !
-
I like this team a lot The only possible question mark might be M Jones, And Van der things fitness . Not sure Lamumba has done enough last week at Casey, but would not be surprised at all to see him sneak in ahead of possibly.. Matt Jones! Frost also in Mix! Dees to smash Greater Western Shizen by 5 goals and as an added bonus... Scully to be polaxed by Clarry Choo Choo!
-
Not sure weather patton's playing, I'll check with Jane Bunn, what da yer reckon Uncle Bitters, do you think she would know!??
-
Oliver watching from the sidelines?? Hnmm hope I'm not reading too much into this but Clarry Choo Choo demands inclusion into round1 No if's or But's and if he doesn't play you would want to know the rationale after him playing 3 Corker games in a row! IMV

Morticia Adams always did it for me!!

Interesting speculation of the interpretation, "I don't know what happened behind the scenes, but if the club offered him up and preferred not to give him a contract, then he may have agreed to go because of limited options." Line! Given we are a much better outfit now are not those options even more limited?

If Oscar Mc Gets a game in front of Lynden Dunn then I'll turn to the dark Side ( Essendope) for some sanity!

I remember going to Mass on a Sunday Morning to stand at the back( Outside ish) Recount the game played on Saturday! Any conquests made on Saturday Night and then plan for the pleasant Sunday Morning which could stretch into the afternoon before thinking about the Sandy Drive in on a Sunday Night! Bitters Man, I know you will Like this!! Oh Bliss!

I ventured out to Windmill city Casey today and FWIW Here is my appriasal. Gus Ready for round 1 moved easily definetely a class above and looks ok to go Lamumba Did what he usually does , but he does have a habit of reducking back into trouble which surfaces in whatever level he plays. Not quite sure if he did enough to warrant recall White is a very interesting footballer for mine, he knows how to position himself to get the ball and reads play veryu well, got a lot of it but some possesions were for him a little wasted, Got pinged hangin on to one too long Stretch Also got some nice possesions but I just think he might be too light for the rigours of AFL just yet Dunny Also ready for recall, played his usual game for mine Hullet First time I saw him and he is a bloody lump of a lad, Liked his endeavour and willingness to mix it with the big boys Weeds Well I'm gonna get crucified for saying this but he reminds me a lot of "JUICE" Newton the way he moves and some of the same types of manerisms. He is raw but I was very impressed early with his positioning and willingness to run the lines and present. Took some very good grabs When he develops a stronger body he will definately be a very very good prospect for the MFC in future. I was watching him closely and one aspect which did peev me of is the Penchant that Casey coaches do have for rotations of talls. I know just a praccy match but this guy needs game time and exposure. Terlich Racked up possesions but for me he just doesn't cut it! Possesions don't hurt you and wastage can be an issue. Oscar Mac Michie , both OK Thats about it!

What the hell is this?? 'But he's only done two weeks of training after coming of an ACL? He did this last year, would have done all the rehab and should be totally over the Knee reconstruction. Two weeks full training ? I dont get this! Anyone else smell a Rat?

Well on so many levels I'll buy in, 1 Dont patronise me with your last Btw, "I don't expect any of this information to resonate with you, as I'm aware of how you roll. I've done it more for others who may be interested" and if its not patronising then belittle at your cost! 2 You pull out James Hird as contrast and hnmm well I realy really hate to say it given his current History , but guess what? James Hird was Twice if not Three times the footballer that Trengove was! 3 If you are going to role model after injury pick someone like "Ultra White Knight" Jonathan Brown! NOW HERE IS A PLAYER WHO HAS COME BACK FROM LIFE THREATENING INJURIES! 4 Jack Trengove was all but signed sealed and delivered to Punt Rd! Just think about that for a minute!! ,,,,,, a MFC Capt who wanted to go to the Tiges!!!! 5 Loyalty is a transient and two way thing! 6 And just to set the record straight I deal in reality!! It would be a great thing for the MFC if IF Jack Trngove gets back on the park! My issue is and always will be a) can he? and b) will he be able to give the selectors reason to pick him?? I wait with bated Breath!!??
