Kozzy Homesick & Wants to Leave?
100% agree with this. We must have salary cap room for sure since we lost Brayshaw and Joel Smith. The salary cap also increased recently and we haven't recruited anyone via trade of AAA quality (no offence meant) since the flag. I'd bump his pay right up for 26 and 27 if he agrees to extend. I'd also consider out of the box ideas like recruiting Isaiah Dudley (his cousin I believe), we need another small forward. Would Michael Walters be interested in a forward coaching role or on field coaching role for a year before transitioning into coaching? He is very close with Kozi too. Let's throw everything at Kozi..!!! I have no idea if these things are possible but throwing ideas out there. We must try everything to keep him and only if all options are exhausted do we trade him for the right offer!

PREGAME: Rd 07 vs Richmond
McVee in. That's a certainty. Maybe for Howes but it depends on what they do with Turner and if May gets up. May for Turner if fit. I have a feeling he won't get up though, the new injury only happened on Thursday. 7 days before the ANZAC Eve match. Maybe Adams come in if he doesn't get up. Laurie for Sharp. Sharp has been really poor lately and Laurie has been working hard and doing well at vfl level. It's time for him to enter the team and give it a crack for a month at least.

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
I'm in the same boat here with my 6 year old son. He has no memory of the premiership 😭. We've been a few times this year so far and he doesn't mind when we lose so that's made it a bit easier...as long as we go outside for regular kicks of the footy at each break! 😁

Trade Targets
I'd take Jayden Hunt back. He's out of contract and a free agent, costs us nothing. Good citizen and adds much needed speed in whichever position we play him.

Kozzy Homesick & Wants to Leave?
Just quietly.. I noticed Kozi is 'following' the Melbournefc instagram page again. Good to see. Fingers crossed for some positive vibes now that he is back into the team.

I feel your pain. My previous nickname was "Dogga".

Training Ground?
I had heard in very recent days that various consultants are being asked for fee proposals to assist with the official planning approval submission...looking promising! I do however know first hand that planning approvals of this scale can be very drawn out unless the Minister can put this into the express queue.

Gary Pert on SEN (17/8/24)
Channel the energy for positive change, build an 'us vs everyone' mentality and attack next year with everything we've got. We need to back up the playing group with a few shrude trades for obvious missing cogs (an experienced key forward as a minimum and a developing genuine backup for Max in case of injury) and work on an aggressive attacking game style to generate excitement in our game.

NGA Rule changes mooted
If this happens, we deserve compensation for not being able to select Mac Andrew. Unbelievable.

CASEY: Rd 14 vs Northern Bullants
I saw that. Outrageous!

Please get off Clarry's back. Show some respect!
I'm all aboard the 'Clayton Back to His Best in 2025' Train. Choo Choo. I would be devastated to lose him and then he returns to form. We need to stick by him longer.

Junior member clinic
This sounded awesome! My son is a junior member through my MCC/MFC premium membership and I hadn't heard [censored]ut this. Was it advertised? I might need to give the club a call and enquire why we didn't receive any emails about it.

TRAINING: Sunday 7th April, 2024
A great day was had by our crew and an impressive crowd turnout (especially considering the weather)! Thanks to the Demon Army for their efforts, it was an impressive setup all-round. My son was absolutely stoked to get some signatures and a few photos!

PREGAME: Rd 03 vs Port Adelaide
Can we pretty please have someone pay close attention to Butters this time? He destroyed us last year in a close battle, he was clearly the difference and I struggled to identify who his opponent was. 41 touches, 2 goals. I suggest Sparrow goes with him. Not necessarily a hard tag but certainly tracking him and not letting him run free, he is far too dangerous!

PREGAME: Opening Round vs Sydney
From The Age (Jake Niall) : Gun Melbourne midfielder Clayton Oliver is on track to play in the AFL season opener against the Swans at the SCG, subject to confirming his fitness levels. The Demons confirmed that Oliver was trending in the right direction to be selected and play at senior level in the first game of 2024. But Oliver, who performed well in the VFL practice match against Carlton on Wednesday, had to show he was fit enough to run out the game at senior level, according to a senior club source, speaking on condition of anonymity about a player who has been in headlines over summer. Woohoo!

Jack Riewoldt and Tom Hawkins
I cannot see any world where this is possible, but I wouldn't say no! He is Geelong through and through and I would guess they are still aiming for a other flag.
