We've been screaming out for an experienced and fit KPF since last year. I was really disappointed that we didn't recruit one during the trade period but was hopeful Grundy may offer a target and one of BB or Tmac would turn back the clock. It's pretty clear that we are still in desperate need for one. I know we have Jefferson building but he's at least 2 years away from being properly ready to lead a flag charge imo. Can we afford to wait without recruiting one? To me it's obvious the answer is no! Our list gets olded and in particular some of our experienced veterans like Gawn, May, etc. We must recruit someone! Rory Lobb? He isn't working out at the Dogs due to their glut of talls and while he isn't necessarily a power forward, he's pretty enormous and can take contested marks and slot goals. I'm not sure who else is around really, they are hard to find!

Put a name to yourself or are you a keyboard warrior? We can then pick apart aspects of your game too. Brown has his deficiencies and he is clearly impacted by his knee issues which are fairly well known. He's close to the end. That doesn't mean he is soft.

As much as I love Charlie, he looks really down on confidence at the moment. He is missing passes that he would normally nail. He only gets ~10 touches a game so he can't afford to mess them up. I think Chandler should come in to offer some more dynamic play and allow Spargo to find form in the vfl now. Tommo for Petty until his back is cherry ripe. We can't afford to have him breakdown in a final like that. Joel Smith was very impressive and either slips in for Petty depending on match ups or is the sub. He is building! It's a bit scary for other teams that we still have the best player in the comp to come back in 😏. Fritsch too. McDonald might also get a sniff late.

Took my wife to her first game in 4 years (2 kids later). We were THIS close to catching an early train home (our bedtime is usually 9:30/10pm 😂) but decided to wait and see. The 4 goal margin always felt reachable but unlikely. Well done All!!!! Absolutely stoked. That Viney goal.. My word!

Jack Gunston. He still has it and is a beautiful set shot, something a lot of our guys aren't! He kicked 5.1 today (4 in the first half) and offers experience and leadership. Maybe even some strategic tips for our underperforming forward line! I believe he is a free agent as well, so we wouldn't need to trade any picks.
