POSTGAME: QF vs Sydney
Yep, spot on. Has hurt us all year, that the āpremiershipā team couldnāt create an environment that helps us win games. Just a run of the mill club rather than a Ess, Coll, Carl etc

POSTGAME: QF vs Sydney
Haha face palm away palā¦..read your last 10 posts. Not accepting reality clearly!!! we had a final won, and buddy faking a 50 actually turned the game. Nothing more, nothing less. Accept reality. Not a dynasty team. Just a team that won 1 flag, and didnāt have what it takes to accept a tiny bit of adversity and back in a plan to get things back on track. Truth hurts peeps!

POSTGAME: QF vs Sydney
Agree. Weaker team, who played as a better team won, but [censored] me, the weapons we had on our side and wasted, itās hard not to put it down to own goals as to why we lost. Largely strategy based, as to how a weaker team got the points.

Can sum it up for you very simply. The better team lost. Absolutely 1000% out-coached, if you canāt see that yet, you will work it out in coming days

Terribly take from someone who canāt cop being spanked by a better team / coach

Will dumb it down for everyone. Weaker team won. Why? Better coach, coaching panel delivered on their plan. We canāt afford for Adem to go!!

Absolute stitch-up. The good news is we play better when challenged rather than receiving pats on the back. A few stolen awards tonight, only assists our finals campaign

Farewell Luke Jackson
Fantastic leadership and culture, if the players know this, have accepted it, and have a mindset of āletās enjoy our last month or so togetherā His performance against the lions displayed evidence that we should get the best out of him, if he only has a few weeks left as a demon - a credit to Jacko himself, his teammates, and the culture of everyone involved.

The right outcome though. Clarry has been a more reliable, consistent performer than Trac during the H&A. Let Trac focus on the big finals and Norm

PODCAST: Rd 23 vs Brisbane
No. Just no. You obviously didnāt watch last weeks vfl. That was like a final for him (2nd last chance to show form and get picked for finals), and he delivered 6 possessions, 2 points, 2 marks. Completely mentally shot unfortunately and sadly.

Will go something like this

Selwyn Griffith
Ess - 15th (and club falling apart) Eagles - 17th Lions - 4th pre game, 6th after. Really donāt think you can compare Melbās finish to Geel/Rich given the relative positions of the opponents. There is not too many top 4/6 teams that donāt come up with some sort of response after a 66 point half time deficit.

An amazing achievement
Yes, see above. Has been revised to 10 goals up, with 2 mins to go.

Game plans, tactics and all that jazz
Given it was the week before finals, and we most likely had top 4 sorted, I actually think we didnāt really well to maintain most of the half time lead in the 2nd half. Would be different if playing a bottom 4 team, but need to remember just how extraordinary a 66 point half time lead is against a top 6 team.
