Lots of British soccer grounds have reintroduced standing and there's standing in the new stand at Geelong. It's definitely possible. Unlikely to happen though.

I've always thought they should open up large standing areas at the back of level 1 and increase the capacity by 10-20k. Gives more diehards a chance on GF day.

My understanding is the mcc has never been a lockout since the 2009 (I think) prelim between coll and geel. Not even GFs. But maybe this is the one that does it - melbourne and Collingwood have the 1st and 3rd most mcc members respectively.

Unlike many, I like goody's vanilla press conferences as he doesn't court controversy and always gives the opposition credit. So I was a bit disappointed with his comments. Came across as a bit sooky and as Cornes points out, the tagger had one less possession than Oliver. Tagging's a valid part of the game and that young fella did a good job against the best midfielder in the comp.

Kozzie is an awful set shot, which has got to be mental given he has sublime skills. It also seems like everyone missed that he did actually finally take a hanger against Carlton. In terms of the original question - I'd like to see how he goes in this finals series before making a judgement.
