I'm Guessing Beveridge's plan for the game could be like this: 1 Keep attacking on our right side as much as they can; 2 Save the rotation for the lefties mainly; 3 Keep making some ready-made righties (who can play in different positions) swap positions between their right side and left side, in order to give their right side's righties an opportunity for a breather. This way, they can keep injecting some new energy into their left side, keep pressure on our right side, make it as an one-side energy-consumption game. You don't have to beat a team as a whole, yon can beat a part of the team to win a game. Hopefully, we have a ready-made plan for this potential situation. Go Maxy, go Dees!

It's well known Clarkson loves lefties, Beveridge once was his assistant coach 2012--2014 (Clarkson's three-peat 2013--2015). I believe their lefties’ line-up for Granny will be very similar to the one displayed at the bottom. From each game’s line-up, 15 Duryea has played 24 games out of 25 this year so far, 6 games as an IC, 16 games on right side, only 2 games on left side--Rd 9 and Prelim (both vs PA). 29 Hannan has played 16 games out of 25, 4 games as an IC, 8 games on right side, one game in central, 3 games on left side--Rd7 vs Richmond; Rd19 vs Melb (he actually played on right side that night) and Prelim vs PA. What I like to say is had they used the line-up for the Prelim against us in Rd11 and Rd19, we would have had much more headaches. If you watch the replay of those 3 games--their Prelim, Rd11 and 19 against us--you could see the difference, they launched much more attacks through their left side in Prelim with good results. AFL website/Match offers the replay videos. In Rd19, a WB’s goal at 3ndQt 7:30 (replay time, not Ch7’s remaining time on screen) and another WB’s goal at 4thQt 17:59--showed you how hard it is to defend a gang of lefties in front of your goal square. The 1st one was through 33-21-29-38(a righty)-33-17, the 2nd one was through 11-21-4. 4 or 5 lefties like Viney or Kozzie type might have been able to stop that chain of play. Lefties know other lefties' tricks better. At 3ndQt 29:57 and 4thQt 9:50, Viney showed us how good a lefty he is, marvelous! We shall not underestimate WB by even one cent, they are the most dangerous team under coach Luke Beveridge. For a win in Grand Final, they are willing to fight you till death -- this will be their main weapon on show, do we have that same willingness ( I know Viney has got one)? If we don't have, don't want to fight at that level, there won't be a happy ending for us. At this stage, the games played between these two sides in H/A season don't count much.

Rd 23 Geelong vs Melbourne 77 : 81 GMHBA stadium This was what they did to us in details in that 2nd quarter: From 19:59 Hawkins' goal to 28:12 Rohan's goal, there were 5 goals in 8+minutes! Our team as a whole had never experienced that kind of "burst" from our opponents before, some of our player were simply shocked and got lost ... I trust our current team, I believe they would learn the lesson, they would be able to handle the situation better, even much better next time around.

No, if you don't mind. Both Demos and Port Adelaide have very good opportunities to reach the Grand final, if we happened to meet them there, I'm so confident we can, we will beat them ( I watched the replay of the whole match of Rd 17 between these 2 teams last night). By the way, I'm a little concerned Cats and Dogs, they are capable to give us some surprises.

Sorry, didn't cast the vote. I don't have a clear preference. What I'd like to see is a hard-fought and hard-won, margin within 5 points game. Rohan kicked 3.3 somehow, Hawkins kicked 1.2 and superstar Cameron kicked 0.5. Captain Selwood and Co. got caught 5 times for their skillful hand ball pass -- throw -- they did it to us in Rd 23, Selwood's one resulting in Hawkin's 3rd goal.

I'd say we still have room for improvement. I believe the real Demons will be coming next year. They might look like such: when they play weaker teams, game over by half time; against good teams, got total control by 3rd quarter. They'd win more1st quarters. They'd kick more goals then behinds.

It'd be a huge test for Demons. But not like Brisbane, we haven't been able to play a game in a "live" stadium for quite sometime ... ok, we had one in Rd21, in a "Boo ..." and " lighting strike" stadium, and we won, didn't we? The outcome of tonight's game will be all depend on how much they -- our supporters in Adelaide Oval -- want from Demons, if they really want Demons to win, you bet, Demon will just win for them! Some of our supporters want Demons to win minor premiership. I believe if we really want it, we can and will win it. But personally, I'd prefer we play Port in Adelaide next week because they had a tough game last night. On the other hand, Brisbane should have a comfortable win over Eagles today, they might give us more hard time next week. Jackson's two years contract extension will be finished in the end of 2022. Wish our club could offer him another five years extension this year. I believe Jackson got something special, I could see two premiership cups coming our way within 5 years -- with him in our team.
